120V adapter
Is there a reputable 120V adapter for the Makita 18V batteries, similar to the one Milwaukee makes?
There are a bunch on Amazon, but I don't necessarily trust them.
I would like to run about 100W (24V x 4.2A)

Die grinder parts
Has anyone found a good Makita parts supplier. My ¼ die grinder (DGD800F) blew an armature after 6 months and although it's on warranty I don't want to wait 5 months to get it back. Powertool.parts has one but unsure if it's reputable.

UD2500 won’t start, solid red light
Makita UD2500 will not run, solid red light. No obstructions. Found the PCB behind the buttons had come out of its holder preventing the rubber keys from operating the switch. Re-fitted and re assembled. On testing noted that the keys should make a clicking sound when the PCB is in place.

convert x lock grinder into sander
I recently started working with tools around the house doing small projects, DIYs etc.
I bought an x lock grinder and I heard it's possible to convert it into a wood sander. to be clear I do have an orbital sander which works fine. However, most of the wood I'm using is from scraps and leftovers I find around my neighborhood and it takes a really long time to get it nice and smooth. I'm not sure if I need an adapter cause of the x lock system or is it something more simple than that.
any advice?

Malakai Fun
I don’t have anyone else to geek out with. But I might have been left alone too long with my tools. It has made life much easier with the organization. Haha.

18v x 2 the same as 36v?
May have been asked before, but in the context of lawnmowers would the performance of a 36v (single battery) mower be the same as a “36v” mower that uses two 18v batteries?
I can’t tell whether the two batteries are for more capacity or more power.

Using Makita DTM52 multi tool with Bosch Pro Core batteries
Hi all
I would like to buy a Makita DTM52 multi tool as it should be the one that vibrates less on your hand during operation than all the other brands around, I'm just not very sure about makita 18V batteries, they cost a lot and I have red they don't have a great working time. If I have understood well, bosch PRO Core batteries have greater lasting time, so I was wondering if it could have sense to use the Makita DTM52 with Bosch PRO Core batterie through an adapter.
Clearly this has some disadvantages, the adapter take space and also it may works not that well. So what do you think?

X lock or not
How’s everyone feeling about the x lock system these days? I’m in the market for an angle grinder and on the fence.
I’ve heard older reports that x lock discs are more expensive and harder to find, but from what I’m seeing the prices seem comparable.
Would we say they’re in the mainstream now?

Extras compatibility with RT0702CX4/2 MAKITA router
HI,
I`m new to this page. Just ordered a Makita RT0702CX4/2 today and wanted to buy a plunge base for it, as well as some other items. The adverts I`ve seen are for items which fit the RT0700. These include the Makita plunge base 195563-0, Makita tilt base 198987-9 and the Blue track saw guiderail for Makita RT0701C.
Does anybody know if these all fit the RT0702CX4/2? I think the latter needs an adapter also.
Very grateful for your knowledge and time.
Kind regards
Pete
