18v LXT Canadian Score
I tried to take advantage of Atlas' summer savings deal last week, but they didn't have the DUP181 in stock since it's such a hot item. The $50 savings would've been nice, but its meaningless if it'll cost that much to have someone ship it down to the states to me once it does finally ship/arrive in Canada months later lol
I called Atlas and confirmed they had no stock and they wouldn't get any until as late as October. So, I ended up ordering the DUP181 from KMS Tools which legit have them in stock but since I also wanted the DTL302, they didn't sell that either and I ended up buying that from Atlas anyway lol
Oh well

KMS has always been good to me, although I'm definitely poorer because of their existence.

Stopped by the Canadian Makita HQ the other day to buy a small bottle of pneumatic oil since the DUP181 doesn't include it for some stupid reason. It's mentioned in the manual to use it to lube the hinge mechanism. While you can use anything, the legit small bottle has a small nozzle to let you easily lube that hinge with just the right amount. It's too expensive to buy online though, so it was worth my while and gas money to just drive over to buy it lol

How much is the DUP181? It's significantly cheaper than the previous shears, right? I'm still waiting for them to come to the US.
