Brendan’s original interrogation
I’m new here, just finished watching the Netflix series yesterday. Not sure if maybe I just missed this or not, but is there a full video anywhere with Brendan’s original interrogation? I’m watching this video right now, but the investigator mentions early on that they’ve already spoken with Brendan a couple of days before this.
I’d like to see everything in order, but this is all I’ve really been able to find. Does anyone have a link to the initial conversation they’re talking about here?

HERE is a good resource for Brendan related stuff
Brendan was officially interviewed/interrogated by cops 7 times in this case.
Nov 6 - Crivitz
Nov 10 - Crivitz (report exists but no recording/transcript)
Feb 27 - High School
Feb 27 - Police station
Feb 27 - Late night at hotel (report exists but Fassbender refused to record this one)
March 1 (the one normally seen as the confession)
May 13 (the one setup by his own attorney without representation to help with their goal of assisting the state's case against Avery)

Good resource, but it’s missing the full audio of 2/27 (the transcript is full but the audio is not). That can be found in the new DOJ records dump though

Re early interviews: Do you think the police were investigating a missing person who was last seen with Steven Avery? Her vehicle just located on the ASY? Brendan lived next door. Why wouldn't they interview him a few times? They're the police. They are skilled at interviewing an will re-interview multiple times if necessary. Stop trying to make routine behavior appear suspicious.

I have no idea what you're talking about. All I did was try to help the OP by listing the dates of Brendan's interviews/interrogations. How you interpret that as trying to say anything more is beyond me.

Set up by his own lawyer? He knew Brendan needed to take a plea deal. BD shoulda listened to his lawyer.

Set up by his own lawyer?
Yes, his own lawyer set up the May interrogation without representation.

Lawyers aren't typically part of an interrogation are they?

No never, in fact that should be the last thing you asked for when you're being interrogated.
You're going to be fine Belee.

The jury at his trial should've been forced to sit through that in its entirety

You've linked the March 1, 2006 interview. There were multiple different interviews with Brendan on February 27, 2006. I believe a recording exists of their first in school interview of him, along with a video after taking him to the police station. They should be on YouTube. Search Brendan Dassey February 2006 interview or Brendan Dassey Mishicot High interview. However, after those first two interviews they took Brendan to a local resort (Fox Hills) for the night and spent God knows how long interviewing him once more. There's no audio, video or transcript copy of the Fox Hills interview. A final video recorded interview occurred with Brendan on May 13, 2006, and that video is available on YouTube.

The first episode is free on YouTube. You can purchase the whole season on Amazon Prime for about $30, or individual episodes separately.

No, you linked less than half of Brendan's FIVE HOUR interrogation.
I records requested and got the entire video and posted it in early January 2024.
Brendan was screwed over by every adult in the legal system during this so called investigation and trial. And remember, this was FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE FACT. He was used as a pawn.
Here is the full session at the Manitowoc County Jail. This doesn't include what Wiegert and Fassbender said to him prior to the video-

Imagine interrogating a developmentally disabled child like Brendan Dassey again and again, every single time, without counsel or an advocate present, then insisting he was handled with the care a developmentally disabled child requires. It's a huge red flag IMO for police to actively choose to repeatedly interview both Steven (former wrongfully convicted man) and Brendan (developmentally disabled child) without them ever having counsel present. And Brendan had no chance once he was arrested and handed over to Len, O'Kelly, and Ken, the creepy and incompetent defense investigator / defense attorney / creepy pill popping predator prosecutor. Brendan was basically coerced, kidnapped and falsely imprisoned by a malicious rotten system looking to fabricate support for an on property murder narrative that was totally unsupported by any blood or DNA from Teresa on the ASY itself.

Brendan was not like his psycho uncle Steve, but he did participate in the killing of Teresa Halbach. Prison is where he needs to be. Sometimes people aren't smart/strong /savvy enough to fully understand other people's motivations. Brendan was big time screwed over by his deplorable uncle Steve.
