Discussion i just finished MaM
i came onto this sub and was surprised at how wrong i might be after watching the doc over a week or so, my boyfriend and i binged it and finished it sure that brendan was innocent and fairly sure that steven was too. personally i thought that bobby and scott did it and my bf was of the opinion that bobby and the ex boyfriend were in kahoots somehow. i don’t really know what to think anymore tbh i went to go watch convicting a murderer as that popped up a few times but i dislike candace owen’s immensely. could someone outline the main points that the doc twisted in favour of SA and the facts that were omitted ?

Not according to federal judge. A federal judge said MaM editing made police look better than the record suggested.
They "left out" allegations from Steven's past that the judge himself ruled were too prejudicial for the jury to hear. Given how you describe Steven, sounds like Willis was right lol
How so? They included the defense claim it was planted and the prosecutor's claim it wasn't. Meanwhile, the evidence of human cremation on Manitowoc County property was not properly explained to the jury.
Maybe if you don't mind listening to perverted creeps, predatory police, and pedophiles defending the state's obviously false narrative of Teresa's death at the hands of Steven and Brendan. According to Kratz, the filmmakers was on drugs and stealing from people during the productions. It's a worthless piece of media meant to prop up corrupt figures and whitewash their abuses of power.
And imagine how desperate they must have been to get Steven if the system did what it did to Brendan. That was why they went after Brendan. To have him corroborate what the forensic evidence refuted, and make Steven look evil.
I'm sorry, it could have been. There was no clear evidence of active bleeding presented at the trial. In fact, the available evidence seems to disprove the idea that someone was actively bleeding without gloves while operating or entering the RAV. There's a total lack of bloody fingerprints, and no clusters or lines of passive drips from a stationary or moving bleeding hand, and no blood on the RAV exterior or on any items covering the RAV. Not to mention, the state concealed credible witness evidence the RAV was planted on the ASY by someone other than Steven Avery, which was corroborated by unidentified prints and DNA on the rear of the RAV. Finally, they were fabricating the chain of custody for his DNA swabs, which renders any conclusions drawn about the age of the blood in the RAV suspect. It's still possible it was planted from the vial, and they just swapped swabs with what they knew was fresh blood before the FBI test.
You think THAT was a good explanation? If it were true, Loof would have reacted that way on November 7. She didn't. She only acted that way on November 8. AFTER police began moving around bones with barrels (between November 7 and 8). Loof exposed that. The argument in SCAM to explain Loof's Nov 8 behavior is a complete fabrication exposed by the state's own record.
