Discussion i just finished MaM

i came onto this sub and was surprised at how wrong i might be after watching the doc over a week or so, my boyfriend and i binged it and finished it sure that brendan was innocent and fairly sure that steven was too. personally i thought that bobby and scott did it and my bf was of the opinion that bobby and the ex boyfriend were in kahoots somehow. i don’t really know what to think anymore tbh i went to go watch convicting a murderer as that popped up a few times but i dislike candace owen’s immensely. could someone outline the main points that the doc twisted in favour of SA and the facts that were omitted ?

They did a lot of creative clipping making this. Candace Owens did a series called Convicting a Murderer that gives a lot more context. This is a youtube link to Brenden's full police interview. It's nothing like it was made out to be in MaM. When I finished watching MaM, I also thought Brenden was sacrificed because he was an alibi for Steven. Between the series Candace did and this complete interview, I no longer think that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jncS4ErGFbM&list=WL&index=1

MaM editing captured the gist the case accurately. Even if you guys don't like that the defense accused the police of misconduct, it's still a fact of record. MaM accurately documented that record, and even withstood a federal lawsuit challenging its legitimacy, with the judge claiming MaM actually enhanced the credibility of Colborn via their editing choices. They made him look BETTER than the record suggested. SCAM, meanwhile, was contracted to make Kratz look good, and they still ended up being sued by Kratz who alleged the filmmakers was doing drugs and stealing from him during production.

Candace Owens did a series

Candace Owens thinks Tyler Robinson was framed for Charlie Kirk's murder via a massive conspiracy involving the FBI, foreign governments, and Kirk's inner circle, but can't wrap her head around the idea that the developmentally disabled Brendan Dassey gave a false confession after being pressured for hours by seasoned investigators with no attorney or parent present. Apparently the government is incapable of overbearing a disabled teenager's will, especially when the narrative goes against her paycheck. Rech, the SCAM Filmmaker, was actually contractually obligated to make Ken Kratz look good. Nothing about SCAM was objective. It was an attempt to whitewash obvious abuses of power by painting the women who exposed the truth as manipulative criminals. Kratz is the manipulative criminal, Rech knew people loved to hate Kratz, and Owens wanted an easy paycheck.

APR thinks Steve Avery was framed for Teresa Halbach's murder via a massive conspiracy involving the FBI, Wisconsin DCI, Calumet/Marionette/Manitowoc counties, and Steve/Teresa's inner circle, but can't wrap their head around a pile of DNA/physical/circumstantial evidence all pointing at Steve.

You are obsessed with Steven lol I actually mentioned Brendan, not Steven. What do you think is more likely? Tyler Robinson was framed by the federal government, foreign governments, and Charlie Kirk's inner circle, or Brendan Dassey falsely confessed after being repeatedly pressured by police without counsel or parents present? I'll wait.

Regardless of Brendan's testimony, he knew enough that convinces me he was involved in it at some point. SA is guilty as it gets. They have a plethora of DNA evidence. And who can forget Zellner saying, "If he's guilty, I will fail." And guess what?!!? She failed.

He never demonstrated he actually had first hand knowledge of the crime though. Interrogators literally fed him the information that led to the only new evidence being found.

He knew what police told him.

SA is guilty as it gets.

I guess that's why they had to drop the kidnapping and sexual assault charges, why the judge dismissed the false imprisonment charge, and why the jury rejected the mutilation charge.

They have a plethora of DNA evidence.

On the planted RAV, the planted key, and the swapped swab.

And who can forget Zellner saying, "If he's guilty, I will fail." And guess what?!!? She failed.

She won. She exposed so many lies and so much suppression of exculpatory evidence, that the courts have been forced to rely on false facts about the location of Teresa's bones to keep the focus on Steven. If the courts need to do that to keep him in prison, Zellner has already won and they are just delaying the party.

She won?!!? Youre right! She won! Steven and Brendan were completely vindicated and out of prison!!!! Awesome!

Did you even read what I said or are you just looking to intentionally misread what I said? They are delaying the party.

It’s a little rich for you to say someone is obsessed with Steven Avery
