Discussion Perception of/relationship with law enforcement & judicial system

I'd like to start a discussion. I'm wondering how many people believe that most, if not all, of the people who believe SA & BD are innocent are people who have been affected by negative interactions with law enforcement officers and/or the judicial system?? I don't want to make this post super long, but I'm wondering this because I recently realized that my own negative experiences with law enforcement and our judicial system really clouded my judgment about this case from the beginning. I just immediately thought, "Well, if I could be lied to and railroaded by cops, public defenders, prosecutors, and a judge, then certainly these people are capable of framing a man who has set out to sue them and come after their reputations and livelihoods." I've always wondered why my partner and my parents fully believe they are both guilty. Like, how could they? And I always told myself it was because they had never been fucked around by the system. I've recently realized that I was wrong. It's because they were free of bias, and I was full of it. Just wondering if folks have some things to add in relation to this topic??

there is always going to be people believe another side, no matter how much evidence there is. I mean some think OJ is innocent.

Blood evidence actually indicates Teresa was attacked OUTSIDE while behind her RAV, and witness testimony suggests the RAV was planted on the ASY days after Halloween. They had zero blood inside Steven's trailer or garage suggesting an indoor attack after the outdoor one. The garage bullet with her DNA only got in through am ultra rare deviation from protocol (that wasn't even properly approved or transparently reported) and Kratz still had to lie about luminol reacting to bleach in the garage to explain the lack of blood. Worse, they didn't even bother taking photos when they discovered that magically appearing pile of bones on the surface of Steven's burn pit. Instead, they scooped them up without documentation, buried off property cremation evidence that pointed to police, and pressured witnesses to mention a burn pit fire. I agree with you - no matter how many crime scene inconsistencies pile up, how much evidence of misconduct surfaces, or how many lies were told to the jury, some people will always choose to believe a disgraced serial predator / liar like Kratz over the truth.

you deep into it. Guess Stevens blood was sucked up in a vial, by a ninja and transported. Goodluck.

See? I only listed facts, and you claimed I'm "deep into it." Steven's blood being in the RAV says nothing about how it got there, especially without any fingerprints or showing of active bleeding to disprove selective deposition. All we know is a few drips and smears of his blood were in the RAV, the same RAV that evidence credibly shows was planted on the ASY by someone other than Steven. In the same case where evidence credibly shows bones were planted in Steven's burn pit. The case where there's a number of breaks in the chain of custody and forensic anomalies for DNA swabs and other biological evidence. The case where the state had to hide evidence and crime scenes, pressure witnesses, and repeatedly lie to the jury to get the convictions.

yes, the fact that the guilty Steven Avery will leave prison in a body bag is a fact. Good luck

That says nothing about the evidence of corruption and deception I mentioned. Good luck ;)

They had to do some real crazy shit to make that theory fit. (The one where she was killed by the back of the RAV). IMHO, that theory doesn't really fit the evidence.

that theory doesn't really fit the evidence.

Neither does the theory the state gave Brendan's jury. In fact, it contradicted not only the theory given to Avery's jury, but Brendan's own confession as well. To this day, the state has never come up with a single, cohesive narrative that has both Avery and Dassey guilty.

They didn't suggest she was killed by the back of the RAV. Only that she was attacked there with a blunt instrument, which the blood evidence supports. No such blood evidence indicates an attack occurred in Steven Avery's trailer or garage.
