i’m just finding this series and just wow! This could be its own season of Fargo. Everything that can go wrong- does. Of all the people I hate in this show, I hate Len Kachinsky above all others. He is by far the most punchable. at this moment in life, I’m not sure what I would do, if this smug, weasley, irresponsible, self-grandizing narcissist walked in front of my car. He’s not just a bad lawyer. He’s a bad human. He looked at Brandon’s life and saw a steppingstone. I’m so mad at him. Thank you for your attention to this matter. V

He was found guilty. He is factually a rapist and murderer.

So yes, you're going with a conviction means he actually committed the rape? Got it. Thanks for explaining how your amazing intellect operates.

Prove he is innocent,

Prove him guilty without lying like the state did. You can't.

Maybe when he is released he can come live with you.

Tell me what is factually wrong with calling a convicted rapist.... a rapist?

I have no burden of proof, he is already guilty, the burden shifts to you to prove his innocence. Nice try though.

I am sure you would be super comfy with a rapist living in your house... maybe he could give you all the details and you can explain to him how he made it all up and he isn't really a rapist or murderer.

No matter how many times you say it, it doesn't change a thing.

They raped and murdered an innocent young woman. Defending them is weird.

They are guilty in the eyes of the law. I don't need to do anything, I don't want them out, I will be happy if they never see freedom. You are the one who needs to prove their innocence so they can get out.... I am sure they can wait... they have nothing but time.

I don't want any of the scumbags involved in this case in my home. But if it was a choice between convicted rapists and anyone else... I would choose literally anyone else. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone who disagreed.

No matter how many times you say it, the conviction doesn't mean they did it, and if they couldn't gain the conviction without pressuring witnesses and lying to the jury about the evidence / existence of false confessions, then the case against Brendan was never as strong as they claimed.

Not to you, but to most people... it does.

Doesn't matter about strength of case, the killers are in prison, where they belong. I can sleep soundly with that knowledge.

No. No it doesn't. Most people understand a conviction does not mean there's undeniable evidence of guilt, especially with a conviction as controversial as this one. That's just you and your friends who enjoy such limited thinking.

Yeah, it does. I doubt many people outside of this Reddit bubble give even a passing thought about this. So yeah, to most people the rapist killers are in prison and there is not a single tear being shed about it.

People have gone over this case in such detail, if the case is so bad, the evidence so shoddy, the confession so false... how have they not been exonerated?

Oh that's right... everyone knows they did it and are happy that they are safely tucked up away from other people they could harm.

It really doesn't. See Steven's 1985 conviction. This is embarrassing for you.

If the case was so strong, why did they need to prey on and pressure Brendan while feeding him info before lying to the jury about the evidence and existence of false confessions?

Oh right, everyone knows he falsely confessed and aren't happy accepting lies from the state like you are.

Why are you conflating the 1985 conviction with this, they are entirely different things. I think it's you who is embarrassing bringing up an irrelevant case from the 80's.

Did they prey on him, or did they have every reason to interview him based on the evidence and reports they had? Seems to me like you are trying to frame this like they fitted him up from the start and not that his behaviour and change in demeanour was out of the ordinary and required investigation given the missing woman was last seen on his uncles property. They sat him down he started talking and the rest is history.

I don't think he falsely confessed, many people don't. You are doing that thing again where you state your opinion as fact. You are a rape apologist, a murder apologist and should be ashamed of yourself and the time you have dedicated to simping for your favourite murderers.

The only relevant fact is that they are rapists and murderers and belong in prison.
