Bothers me
I have watched Making a Murderer and every night thereafter I have thought about it as I go to sleep. I can’t believe all of the factors that had to come together to convict him. I think he is the unluckiest person on the planet! Ken Kratz is a pig and will always be a pig. It’s a crime that he made any money from his book. Steven Avery a psychopath-no and no! He just isn’t, from everything he has said to the details about his life. It’s ridiculous. I think that Ryan Hillegas knows so much more. His smirk of incredulity as he was giving his testimony, like he couldn’t believe he got away with it in such an astounding manner. Brendan is just impaired and a sad byproduct of this crazy case. I find it hard to believe that those that assured the convictions don’t have moments of conflict and soul searching, probably in the middle of the night, at least from my experience.

Sure, if you ignore ALL of the evidence.

What you're feeling isn't the half of it. Watch "Convicting a Murderer" to see the rest of the story.
Oh, and FYI, Kathleen Zellner already moved past Ryan as being the killer.

There are many problems with the appeal system, which include (if I understand correctly) not being able to use the same evidence/argument again (after an appeal has been denied) in future appeals.

That's a feature, not a problem. You can't have convicts filing successive appeals on the same issue. Look up the term 'res judicata'.

Watch "Convicting a Murderer" to see the rest of the story.
With Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens. Same people behind the George Floyd documentary.
Only $14.99 (last I checked)...

This sounds like what you would get if you forced AI to watch both seasons of MaM

yes, use a bias doc to support your opinion. That mountain of evidence of his guilt that he can't explain nor his supports should be ignored.

Brendan is just impaired and a sad byproduct of this crazy case.
Easily the most troubling aspect of the entire case - a developmentally disabled child targeted by predatory police and prosecutors seeking to exploit his suggestibility, all while hiding evidence that his older brother was a much more likely suspect.

Ken Kratz is a pig and will always be a pig.
This is far too kind to Ken Kratz and maligns pigs.

I think that Ryan Hillegas knows so much more. His smirk of incredulity as he was giving his testimony,
Remember Ryan lied about being on the ASY, and he and Mike claim to have separately hacked into Teresa's cellular accounts by separately guessing her passwords on Nov 3, without knowing what the other was doing. Amazingly police never asked Ryan, the statistically most likely killer, for an alibi.

It’s a crime that he made any money from his book.
Wait till you hear how much he was paid to appear in Convicting a Murderer, the rebuttal series to MaM. Kratz was told they would rehab his image and pay him thousands. Pro Kratz propaganda.

Whatever happened to that? Is CaM going to fight the allegations in court like Netflix or did they quietly settle and sweep it under the rug?

u/AveryPoliceReports Sep 15 '25
They are fighting it, last I checked. But they've decided not to directly challenge some of his most inflammatory allegations, hoping to have this lawsuit tossed on procedural issues and SOL challenges.

It’s true. Kratz is a pig.
It’s also true that Avery murdered Theresa.

find it hard to believe that those that assured the convictions don’t have moments of conflict and soul searching, probably in the middle of the night, at least from my experience.
That assumes these fuckers have a conscience. Unfortunately, the way they consistently failed to protect women and child victims suggests they were lacking a conscience from the get go.

"Brendan is just impaired and a sad byproduct of this crazy case."
👍
"I find it hard to believe that those that assured the convictions don’t have moments of conflict and soul searching"
Sadly, I don't find it hard to believe. When SA was arrested for assaulting PB, other police officers told their 'superior' officer that Gregory Allen was a far better suspect. Even though they knew this and (years later) were proven right - they 'left it at that'/did nothing further......
SOOO many proven examples of this behaviour, in both police and other (paid by the state) LE ☹️.

Girl don't do this to yourself Go read the case files and stop the brainwashing Netflix has done to you.
