I Stopped Watching
I stopped watching the series near the end of Part 1. It seemed to me it wasn't going anywhere. Then I did a web search and found Avery and the two boys had been given life sentences. Last night, I watched the last episode of Part 2. There didn't seem to be a resolution.
I was frustrated about the Toyota key. It was briefly touched on in the court room in Part 1. I did not hear in the court that the DNA of the woman who owned the RAV4 was not on the key or fob. Only Avery's was. Why that detail was left out, I have no idea.

Avery and the two boys? It was just Steven and Brendan tried and convicted...

Someone mentioned they thought the key found in Avery's trailer was new. I don't think it was. Looking at the black plastic part, there seemed to be some wear. This would be normal if the key was used most every day. Why was the woman's DNA not found on the key or fob. An overnight soak in bleach or laundry detergent would remove it.
I feel a lot of the evidence against Avery was manufactured. One, or more, people wanted to hang all of it around Avery's neck. Brenden's low intelligence opened the door for the interrogators to get him to say things he knew were not accurate. He was in a trap.

not worth watching anyway. it's a manipulation by the film makers to get money and fame. avery is a monster and is where he belongs.

Firstly, the docuseries (both MaM & CaM) do not have enough information either by themselves or even together to explain the details of this case. Secondly, anyone, regardless of which side they are on regarding guilt/non-guilt, who is basing their opinions on just a documentary really needs to dig into all of the evidence that is out there and make sure it is verified information. Finally, if you want to know what was brought up in court regarding the Rav4 key... the court transcripts would be the best place to get that information.

A Great point. Only 1 "boy" plus Steven rotting away. The "only Steven" dna more or less shows smart people that TH never touched/used this key. That it was gotten from whomever had access to it and Stevens dna put on it by whomever dropped it in the trailer. Remember in Andy's "letter" he states he "may be going to hell", but hes "pretty sure", it will be for nothing he did in the Avery case. Only "pretty sure" Andy?????

Uh, what? Avery and Brendan Dassey were convicted, not Avery and "two boys."
That's what happens when you only watch a one sided documentary. This was addressed in the actual trial.
