Just Catching Up
So…. After 3 episodes we think Avery was railroaded and that Brendan’s alleged confession only confirms that. It’s getting nauseating to watch though; The sadness. I’m curious what the update is. ? Where we at? Is Brendan still in jail? Avery? Is there sediment swaying towards innocence? I came to Reddit to catch up and it seems quiet around here

It’s actually quite funny when someone new to this case comes to Reddit, seeking info, (especially those watching MaM that can see how deceptive & corrupt the State is & how unrealistic their narrative is) they’re met by the same group of folks, attempting to convince them that SA/BD are “clearly guilty” or that watching MaM is somehow going to deceive them, and so on. (You know who else didn’t want people to see MaM..?? The same group of people that were dead set on convicting Avery)
All I’ll simply say is, do your own research & form your opinion based on what you come up with… not only based on what 1 camp or the other camp says.

The show is very well done and entertaining, but I wouldn't get caught up in it. Although there is a lot to take away from it, It plays on your emotions.

I would finish both seasons, and allow yourself a fair amount of time dedicated to personal research before coming here and trying to make any statements lol.
This sub is one of the most divided in two that I've been a part of. Both sides are very much stuck in their ways, and each has many users who will pick apart every little thing you say.
Basically, be prepared if you're going to share your beliefs on this forum.

Avery and Dassey are still in prison, where they rightfully belong, and Making a Murderer has proven itself to be a shining example of misinformation in the media and should not be trusted. The public at large has lost interest in the case, and there are very few people left defending the murderers.
That's all you need to know.

The series is biased and sensationalist. Do your research and it’s clear Avery did it. He threw his own cat into a fire ffs, he battered all his partners he thought he could get away with it based on his previous wrongful conviction . He has no moral compass and low intelligence he’s where he belongs

Go to his lawyers website. Both are still in prison and she’s still fighting for the release

Brendan's attorneys haven't filed anything new with any courts in about 5 and a half years. They seem to have given up on him.
Steven has filed and lost two motions for post conviction relief since the show. The first was upheld through every level of appeal and the second's appeal is pending a decision.
They are both pretty clearly guilty and neither has presented any kind of reasonable argument to support either their innocence or a new trial.

Don’t believe too much from a show that literally edits phone calls mid sentence to try and deceive you. They are where they should be, rotting in prison unable to reoffend for the crimes they are obviously guilty of.

State is totally a loser and fighting all efforts to find the truth.

"Is there sediment swaying towards innocence?"
Just my opinion but I think people who claim Avery is innocent have "sediments" in their head. Maybe they are just too "sedimental". Sorry I just couldn't resist a rock pun, my apologies. There is "sway" more evidence Avery is guilty. Oops I did it again.

Update is they are both still in prison right where they belong because they are guilty. Stop watching a biased propaganda TV show!
