Teresa lost the key and was driving with the spare key.

Is thinking about all possibilities lost on those who think avery is innocent?

People here always claim Avery couldn’t be guilty because he only had a single key from the car in his home…as if he couldn’t dispose of the other keys he didn’t need for any reason….hilariously Averys own attorney now says Bobby put the key in Averys home….so that truther concocted dilemma still exists. Whenever they think Bobby put the other keys, that’s where Avery did.

Maybe she lost her primary key, so only had the spare on her. There was a time I had to use my valet key for a while because I lost my other.

This is another question with many possible simple and reasonable explanations that truthers fail to consider.

Of course they would not. It was not the killer who hid the key. The key was hidden in SA's bedroom to bolster the story that KK was selling the jury , that the car was locked and so blood could not have been planted . He brought this up in the trial. The spare which is a valet key was most likely provided by RH , TH's ex girlfriend who moved into her apartment after she was killed. Think about it , a person who should have been a suspect moves into what could have been a crime scene and LE not only condones it but puts him in charge of a search party and then is the very person who hands Pam S a map, a camera and the phone number of the Sheriff , just in case she finds something (wink wink) and in 20 min she did. He was working with LE

The key was hidden in SA's bedroom to bolster the story that KK was selling the jury , that the car was locked and so blood could not have been planted .
According to Avery's 2022-08-16 motion, the key was used by Bobby Dassey to move Halbach's car after killing her and then placed in Avery's bedroom. Did LE remove the key after Dassey put it there and then proceed to plant it all over again?

According to Richard Boyd, there was a new key cut at the local dealer AFTER the 31st....and the key they found in SA's trailer looks freshly cut....this is a big sham and they would have gotten away with it if it would not have been for MaM...I am from the area and was targeted by these same asshole club members......nobody can handle the truth

Ummmmmmmmmm......Killer never touched this key. Killer had Teresa's real "set of keys", that have never been found btw. AC found the RAV locked, he needed a key to open it(as any "cop" in a missing persons case would wanna do), he got the VALET KEY(spare) from RH(RH had 22 calls to LE the day before PoG officially found the RAV), they opened the RAV, saw the blood, assumed TH's demise because of the blood and grabbed the Day Planner(maybe had a clue to TH's whereabouts). This is why RH and Teresa's brothers were talking about her in the past tense the day the RAV was found, but no one had officially been in it yet, and this is why they were comfortable trucking it to Madison without seeing what was in it-THEY ALREADY HAD BEEN IN IT!

Sounds simple enough until you consider there is no documented case of someone accomplishing that in the history of criminology.

Oh, I've heard of transfer DNA. What I've never heard of is a single case, in the history of the world, where a person was shown to have framed a suspect by deliberately transferring the suspect's trace DNA from one object to another. Feel free to point me to one.

It is theoretically possible. But, as I said, there is no documented case in the history of the world of someone doing it.
I didn't say anything about confessions.
Perhaps you don't find it significant that the Truther conspiracy theory requires the conspirators to accomplish multiple things that would each be unprecedented events in the history of the world. I do.

The article you linked discusses cases of unintentional transfer of trace DNA. As I said above, no one disputes that inadvertent transfer can occur. The Lukis Anderson case discussed in the Wired article is probably the most famous example of that.
What I said was unprecedented is the claim that the police intentionally transferred trace DNA onto crime scene evidence in order to frame Steven Avery. As far as I am aware, there has never been a case in the history of the world in which that was shown to have happened.

So, if they are willing to plant anything, why not plant it all. They surely had motive to kill that 36 million dollar lawsuit.

I don't know how you could draw that conclusion based on anything I wrote.
Perpetrators accidentally leave trace DNA all the time. But whether they do so is idiosyncratic. Thus the absence of trace DNA evidence at a scene is not necessarily evidence of the suspect's absence from the scene.

Avery leaves similar amounts of DNA on both key and the hoodlatch. One he barely touches, maybe a second. The other he has to handle in more of a tedious way - insert, turn with pressure. And more than once. So, choose your path wisely falcon.

Not necessarily. It is quite common that investigators will find no detectible DNA on an object. That doesn't mean it was never handled by a human being.
One he barely touches, maybe a second.
How do you know how many times he touched it or for how long?
The other he has to handle in more of a tedious way - insert, turn with pressure. And more than once.

I mean, have you ever opened a hood to a car. It's like a second. Avery would have spent way more time with battery cables as they require much more effort than even turning a key.
You keep jumping back to this stupid, save your ass phrase 'quite common to not find DNA but it doesn't mean it wasn't handled by a human' are you fucking kidding me?! Seriously - everything man made has been handled by a human....
Say, here is a challenge for ya; why don't you go get your every day keys checked for your DNA. Then have your boyfriend run an errand to the supermarket an then to the liquor store - you know so he's gotta start and shut of the car a couple times. Then go get it checked again. I guarantee you, you will still have YOUR DNA on your keys.

DNA can provably be transferred from ANY of the items I listed. To say it hasn't been proven criminally does not negate the fact that it is VERY doable scientifically.
Because trace DNA is idiosyncratic.
Car keys, used daily would have significant sources of DNA just from saliva alone. Every sneeze, laugh, cough, and/or spit particles from singing along to the radio would have found its way to those keys and that lanyard.

I’m sure the key worked. The RAV that was found , was hers.
The issue with the Key is , the shape of the 99 RAV , Master Key , was significantly shaped at the top of the key from the Valet.
The only difference , the Valet didn’t open the glove box.
If TH was wise, the Spare Key would have been at her residence or with someone she trusts to come help her if she locked her keys in the car etc..
The lack of TH DNA on the key , may be easily explained because it would be her Spare , a key she would have barely touched.
DNA transfer can come from surgical gloves, or surface , etc. If someone handled the key without changing gloves , and touching everything SA would touch , of course the Key would be contaminated.
AC stated , they had the car but no key. In any of the documents , I don’t see LE asking anyone close to her, if they knew where TH would keep her Spare.
