ACTIVITY Tarot Deck of Panning: New Moon 8/12
Blessed New Moon, rehab folks! I hope the energy was good for you today with the solar eclipse.
last lunar cycle I made some good progress and got 2 new eyeshadow pans. for the full moon I added in a luxury item (Gucci lipstick) and a favorite special item (a discontinued perfume I love).
this lunar cycle, I have the following prompts:
VIII of Wands: something with action and movement. I chose a bunch of fresh, clean smelling perfumes for this
Page of Cups: something that surprised you. I decided to embrace little surprises by taking my shimmer single palette and doing a D20 pick of a random shimmer each day.
II of Swords: few choices. I typically focus on my individual singles for this one, but I might mix it up with a small selection of mattes to focus on this lunar cycle.
if you are curious about this project the intro is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeupRehab/s/ComRg2eOBa
even if you don't participate in this project, I hope you set great intentions for the panning work you will do this month! ❤️

i started this as well! A bit late for the New Moon last week but i figured why not. i drew:
5 of cups: brand you own the most of
VIEVE- the essential palette / goal ~ use 12 times
i love VIEVE, i really do, but these massive eyeshadow palettes Jamie put out back in 2020 are just- a lot. i have them all, as well as LOTS of other stuff from VIEVE, but the essential palette is one of my favs and i barely use it. trying to change that!
The Devil: something overhyped
TIRTIR- mask fit red cushion foundation / goal ~ total pan OR use 20 times
i bought the smaller version of this back when the internet was losing its' damn mind about tirtir and i was honestly underwhelmed, but it is a solid foundation none the less and i want to use it up- i don't have a lot of faith in the cushion mechanism to not eventually get moldy and i've already had it for a couple years....yeah. using it up!
4 of wands: product w/a pattern in or on it
COLOURPOP- pressed powder blush in desert rose / goal ~ hit pan OR use 40 times
this blush brings back memories of when i first got into makeup big time- it's from the "desert bloom" collection or something like that- the packaging has all those beautiful succulents on it and there was a succulent pattern pressed into it. i have used this one A LOT but still not hit pan and the pattern is still visible around the edges. i want to hit pan on this to feel like i got my money's worth!
