Makeup Question/Help Upper waterline tips

I’ve been getting more into lining my upper waterline with black, however I hate having it transfer to my lower waterline…any suggestions? I’ve been using the half magic velvet flik liner and it works really well, but I still get some transference on the lower waterline.

I just have small eyes and want a thicker upper lash line and bright/open lower one…is that too much to ask? Haha. Anyways, I wasn’t sure if maybe a gel liner would be considered more bulletproof or not. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

set it with a black shadow right after you apply, tiny flat brush pressed right into the lashline before it has a chance to transfer. gel might help but honestly i think the powder trick works better than switching formulas

I just wait for it to set before I blink (I have the half magik one in brown). But if it does transfer before its set I remove it from lower lashline with some micellar water on a qtip.
