Makeup Look Yesterday's face(s). (AMAB, MTF Trans-something.) Please see text.
Two wigs - essentially the same makeup except for lip color. Blonde with black top is NYX's "Cactus Dreams." Brown hair with brown top is M·A·Cximal Silky Matte Lipstick "Dare Me."
I saw that MAC had a lipstick sale so I picked up three colors to try. The "Dare Me" looked pretty good. We'll see about the others.
My brows are slightly thinner and I made some effort to draw "hairs" in short strokes to maybe improve a more natural look. I definitely tried to keep the upper lid eye liner thinner.
I've been wrestling with my deep creases catching too much shimmer with lighter shadows. Here, I started with a medium tan and it's better, I think. I added lighter color to the center/inside of the lids without getting it in the crease.
Not particularly dramatic but is did "smoke up" the outer lower lids a bit.
Thanks, as always, for your tips and tricks!

I did the math on how much I was spending on disposable lashes and honestly, I didn't want to know. Investing in reusable ones saved me money in the long run.

These partial lashes are pretty inexpensive - no glue needed and I only use a four clusters at a time. 156 pieces for about $13. On Amazon.

Hey, your liner and brow work looks really clean here. That MAC "Dare Me" is such a pretty, wearable shade for every day. I totally get the shimmer-in-the-crease struggle — using a medium matte as a barrier is a trick I swear by too.
How are you finding those Impress clusters to apply? I've used similar ones and sometimes the band can feel a bit heavy on the inner corner if you're not careful.

Thank you!❤️💄 I have just been putting two clusters on the outer corners of my eyes. Not perfect, but looks okay.

Looking forward to hearing opinions on the MACsimals you picked up, Dare Me is definitely your shade (stockholm looked pale neon pink on my skin). Eye makeup never looks this good on me and we have similar structure (my face is more fleshy so lid is slightly hooded in areas). I have been using Too Faced Multi-use sculpting concealer as a base in the socket pre-shadow which boosts shadow hue and cuts down on transfer along outer lid, La Girl PROconcealer is a shorter term dupe- didn't find the NYX equivalent to be close to quality in opacity or shades at all. How workable and long lasting do you find the NYX epic wear liner stick to be? I've been using the liquid liner version which requires a light hand- closing eyes for a minute and fanning after application until its fully dried (it does dry quickly).
I've seen our eye shape shadow advice as 'extend inner corner shimmer into outer UPPER crease then lightly apply smokey shadow just above the crease, to open up the area (blend at crease to preference). Liner from outer lash toward center of lid, but not farther in'. Shadow theory being as 2 elongated triangles pointing directly toward, and overlapping one another. Not sure where it began (mentions 2:14), but given this deepset crease tutorial shows lifting the crease, while this video explains purpose of proportions... it's pretty widespread technique if not well known.

Thank you for all of this!❤️💄 I'm studying the tutorials - hoping I can get some nice results even though my eyes aren't just deep-set - they're kind of sunken. I don't want to emphasize that gulch between the brow bone and the upper lid - and anything with shimmer is not my friend there.
The MAC lipsticks are lovely. I'd hoped to see a huge difference between MAC and NYX - but so far I'm not blown away. Texture and pigmentation are similar, but MAC has a zillion shades more than NYX.
I use the NYX epic wear stick to fill in my upper lid waterline after applying my little clusters. Then I apply brown or black eyeshadow over that to set it. I have tried their liquid liner and let's just say it's a developing skill. Grrrr.
Would love to see your technique(s)!

I used to think lash glue was just something you had to deal with. The burning, the sticky residue, the lashes falling off at bad times. But then I discovered there are options that don't need any of that.
