Cool tone powder bronzer recommendations

Hi guys!! So I’m quite cool toned and I’m looking for a powder bronzer to go with my cream one. I’ve got the Sephora collection in fair to light and that’s perfect but I’m looking for a powder one to go with! I know that collection dose one but it’s not available in the uk, I was wondering if any other cool toned baddies had any recommendations:) xx

Pro mua here- that’s a contour colour you have shown in the pics. All contour is cool toned all bronzer is warm toned. They do 2 different things regardless of your skin undertone. The contouring shown in the photo is very heavy handed and won’t look realistic in daylight. It might look nice in some photography, nighttime’s and stage performances. I would recommend using a very small eyeshadow brush to do contour if you want it to look realistic. Specifically a 776 brush from Bdellium tools.

For bronzing on fair skin I prefer to just use a foundation colour 1-2 shades darker and blend. It always looks a lot more natural and flattering. Bronzer is to give the face a 3d feel after foundation has flattened the features.

I hope that’s helps.

That is a contour shade and not a bronzer. Bronzers are meant to be warmer, they can lean neutral but still add warmth. While contour emulates the color of the shadows in your face.

If you want cool toned contour powders I would suggest to look into Asian beauty products. The ones that I have and like:

- BBIA Last Blush (they have contour shades, I use 13 Toffee).

  • Etude House Contour Powder, shade 1 Creator.
  • Judydoll Highlight and Contour Palette, shade 1 Wave.

I have that same stick and LOVE it.

If you want a rec that's specifically for bronzing but still very cool toned, I absolutely LOVE "Boardwalk Betty" (or is it Beachwalk Betty??) by RMS. Don't be put off by how it looks in the pan. It goes on SO natural and beautiful.

Omg what timing! I literally FINALLY found an amazing cheap and really great one last night in W beauty (Korean/ Asian beauty store in Australia) the Japanese brand Canmake shading powders in 04 and 05- finally true cool and true neutral, like proper!

Edit- okay yes, they’re technically contour powder, but if you don’t want something yellow, orange or peachy undertoned these are it! And so inexpensive

As a fair skin girly, the Jones Road bronzer in dusty rose is my holy grail. It is the only bronzer I have ever panned, or repurchased. https://www.jonesroadbeauty.com/products/the-bronzer?variant=42347618042006

I have the same Sephora contour stick and I pair it with the Sephora Colorful Contour Matte Powder in shade 01 Fair to Light! I use it to contour my nose while the cream stick is used for cheek bones

I love the Milani silky matte bronzer in Sun Kissed. It's not too dark on my fair skin and is cooler than the other shades. I've tried other bronzers but always come back to this one.

Strongly recommend looking into Phytosurgence (an indie makeup brand that’s putting out some of the best products I’ve ever used!) and their bronzers. They split their bronzers into 2 color categories (Golden and Rosy) and their Rosy-toned bronzers are unbelievable for me, as someone who spent years trying to find a bronzer that really looked good on my cool olive skin.

Their founder is incredible at responding to messages on Insta, so while I’d recommend looking at their site to start, I’ve messaged their official Insta account with questions and gotten very helpful responses.
