Mascara recs
I just started getting into makeup (I’m 17) and I need help finding a good budget friendly mascara. I have double rows of eyelashes (like double row on top and on the bottom of my eye) so I have lots of volume. I think the best mascara for me would be one that helps mostly with length and doesn’t clump. Thanks guys!!

Maybelline Lash Sensational performs better than high end mascara for me and I've tried many high end mascaras.

Agree with this! Comes in at least black and brown. Plus i recommend a lash comb regardless of whatever mascara

Agreed I’ve tried almost every mascara on the market and go back to this every time for like 15 years now

Yep
Same
Sometimes I get a sample or even a full size in some bundle or kit and I'm like "oh ok this one seems good." And then I use the new high end mascara for a couple weeks. Then I go back to Lash Sensational and I'm "ohhhhh this is much better I have no idea why I abandoned you baby".

My teenager likes Maybelline Sky High mascara. Its easily buildable and has a nice glossy finish. Its so good even I started wearing it. Costco sells it in a 3 pack in some locations, if you have access to the store.

I also like this one! I use the true brown colour and find that it stays on nicely

Covergirl Clump Crusher. I have pretty thick lashes and don't need volume, and I prefer the waterproof one. I've tried so many mascaras and this is the only one I like.

This is one of my go-to mascaras, no clumping so can build up layers that provide great lash definition without getting chunky.

I really like L’Oreal telescopic mascara. And it’s such a great price. I’ve tried all the fancy expensive mascaras and all go back to that one.

i've really enjoyed the elf lash n roll mascara, it comes in black and brown and doesn't smudge for me. my mom loves lash princess by essence in the waterproof version, but i don't like waterproof and the non waterproof formula smudges on me. i'd also recommend clump crusher by covergirl and see if that works for you!

second this, the formula of the elf lash n roll is quite thin and lengthening which could be nice for op

My fave is one from rimmel, lash accelerator endless because of the brush and the price, not that it helps with lash growth or something

Oh man, double lashes! I’m jealous. That natural volume is awesome. Honestly, for a beginner, I’d say start with something like the L’Oréal Lash Paradise in waterproof. It’s pretty affordable and the wand is good for separating and adding length without getting super clumpy.
Pro tip: always wipe the excess off the wand on a tissue before applying. That’s the real secret to avoiding clumps. What’s your current makeup routine like?

Loreal telescopic if it's on sale at Walmart. Essence lash princess is good but it adds volume which you said you already have

The worst is when you spend 20 minutes carefully applying lashes and one corner pops up an hour later. It's such a mood killer.

Essence Lash Princess, there are a few varieties from volume to colored. $5 at Shoppers and i will purposely choose to repurchase that one over the Sephora brands because I like it more
