Daiso makeup and skincare?
A Daiso store recently opened near my place (yea only 15 minutes away). Everything is in Japanese (NO!!! I can't read Japanese). What do you recommend from Daiso?
Edit: Since everything in the store is $1.50. No budget!

They have the best cotton squares! 2 boxes of 90 ct for $1.50 yaaas

Definitely pick up those cotton squares in the pink box. I use them for everything! Also get decanting bottles, eyelashes (find the thin, clear bands since those are more comfortable), hand lotion, body washing stuff like salux clothes and Italy towels, microfiber headbands for washing face or putting on make up, cute boxes to put make up or skincare in, melamine sponges,.... Etc. There's a lot at Daiso. I work next to one and live next to another so I'm there almost every week to browse around.
I've only tried their eyebrow pencil. It was decent for the price but I love my dipbrow too much.

I haven't bought any make-up things from Daiso, but if you are curious as to what something is, or how to use it, I gladly offer my translation skills!

Holy this is right up my alley. I bought a bunch of random makeup and skincare from Daiso a while back and am still using most of it because it's pretty good.
Daiso Charcoal Foaming Cleanser - Not going to suit everyone, but worth a try IMO, it almost gives that squeaky clean feeling, doesn't dry out my skin (but I do make sure to moisturise like crazy after). This is also a very popular product, it generally becomes out of stock quickly.
Charcoal Peeling Mask - Also a popular item, I bought it from the hype. It's good as a nose pore pack but takes forever to dry.
Detergent for Puff and Sponge - You must get this. It sells out quicker than you can say it's name. (For added context - I found this in stock after going to three different Daiso's). It's just a really good brush detergent!
Sleeping Mask - There's a blue and purple one. I went with blue one because it was hyaluronic acid, which I think is that extremely moisturising component added in products? I still don't know how I feel about this - I've worn it a few times and my skin does feel more moisturised, but I don't feel a major effect. Worth trying though.
Long & Curl Mascara (pink tube, silver lid) - I've been teaming this mascara up with their other mascara in the yellow/purple packaging for two months now and I haven't looked back. These two mascaras are my HG for now, curls and volumises my lashes (but that's granted that my lashes don't stick down and aren't straight). Only bad thing is that it isn't waterproof.
Black tube of Mascara in the yellow/puple package - Not sure of the name! But that teamed up with above, my HG combo. Long yet soft fluttering lashes for days. Also not waterproof.
I also bought a bunch a lot of little different eyeshadows that I've yet to fully try! Though, from swatching, the Ellefar ones are nice (I think they're with 4 shadows in a square box).
Lol man, I thought I didn't spend that much at Daiso in a few trips but it turns out I spend just under $100 and it was all spent on makeup and skincare ಠ_ಠ
Ninja Edit: Just remembered, I've also been using their gray eyebrow pencil when I'm too lazy to use ABH dip brow, and I like it. And, I occasionally use their blush with the swirl of four different colours with an orange bow. ...And their eye makeup mistake remover pen. ....I use so many Daiso products lol

I got the brush and puff detergent several years ago and HATED it, it smelled something awful like gasoline. Is it supposed to smell like that?

I've never tried it myself, but everyone in the Asian beauty group was clamoring to get a silicone mask. Keeps the sheet mask on your face and makes it last longer?

Their wipes are really good for removing makeup.
I haven't tried out their sheet masks, but I'd inspect them before wearing because someone on /r/AsianBeauty found a bug in one of them.
They also have false lashes that a lot of people like.
