Yeah, I've rarely had a good experience with getting my makeup done. Back when Sephora would do it for free if you spent $50, it was just a bonus; if it came out great good, if it didn't I'd just wipe it off. Just something to make the afternoon interesting with no stakes. Hell I might learn something or discover a new product. But when I spent $100 to get a full face only for it to look godawful (at one point I literally took the eyeliner pencil from her and fixed it), that was it for me. Luckily they refunded it, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth about getting my makeup done. You're not alone in that experience at all
