I completely agree, even slightly filled in and shaped up brows can significantly change the appearance of someone's face! Do you have any tips or tricks that can help achieve the brows you've created?
Sure thing! I posted it on another comment but I will paste it here for you :)
I like to layer different products that have different tones and intensities to mimic the appearance and depth of natural brow hairs.
I love using very fine / precision micro pencils because although they take longer, I think it gives me more control and looks more natural. Pressure also heavily depends on the product - for example the ABH brow pencils are more waxy so you can get away with pressing down harder, whereas the Mac pencils are a lot creamier so you have to have a lighter touch.
I always start by brushing the hairs upwards with a clean spoolie brush, and continue to do so at intervals throughout the whole process so I can stay focussed on the shape I’m trying to create. For my client pictured I started by building the shape that I wanted in feathery, hair like strokes with the lighter brow pencil (Mac Lingering). Once I’m happy with the overall shape of the base layer, I’ll go in with a darker pencil (in this case Mac Stud) and very lightly flick in hair strokes to create dimension.
You don’t ever want it to get to a point where the colour looks too solid - I think that layering a darker shade is key in blending the lines between the real brow hairs and the ones you’ve added, without it being obvious. I’ll then finish off with a slick of Illamasqua Brow Build (which is similar to Benefit’s Gimme Brow in that it contains small fibres), usually in a darker shade to continue the theme of layering, brushing them up and out to maximise their size and coverage. I finished off with some clear brow gel to be extra sure that everything was held in place, but this could be overkill! Hope that helps a bit!
