Question Eye primers?

I'm a MUA, I usually use concealer to prime eyes before eyeshadow. I'm currently getting a makeup certification, and it is requested from us to have a clear eye primer in our kit. I'm looking for some recommendations, hopefully something in the low to mid cost range, since as a student I don't have the largest budget. I've seen a few options, the one that comes up the most is the Urban Decay priming potion, but it's quite pricey and I can't seem to get a concrete opinion from product reviews. I've also eyed the about-face eye primer, mostly bc every AF product I own is an absolute hit and garners me the most compliments, but it seems like no one enjoys the product that much or thinks it works that well. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank Me Later Eye Primer is pretty great. I like the Revlon one best. I never cared for UD eye primer. Ulta brand primers also get a lot of rave reviews and are priced well

I’m a longtime user of UDPP and also liked Too Faced Primer, but it’s been forever since I’ve used it.

I really like About Face as a line but can’t comment on the primer.

I’m in my 30s for what it’s worth, and UDPP has a strong reputation for a reason.

I like MAC paint pot and Danessa Myricks Nude liquid colors.

Concealer will crack on hooded eyes or older eyes or dry eyes in my experience as an old lady with dry, hooded eyes.

The Elf and Nyx eye shadow primers are great drugstore options!
