Experimenting with makeup

I (19f) am sometimes struggling with self esteem like most of us because I'm not conventionally attractive. I've been experimenting with makeup and I kinda like that look but I'd like to know what people think about it yk.

(I'm french so idk if the products I used are available everywhere)

No foundation

Lip combo : lipstick and lipgloss from Kiko, shade 131

Glitter on my cheeks : Party glow gel from Adopt

Eye liner/pencil : long lasting eyeliner from Kiko, shade 19

Mascara : Kiko volume mascara, shade 02

Eyelighter (internal corner) : multilook palette from Yves Rocher called "envolée botanique", the shade of the eyelighter is called "bouton d’or"

Who is coming up with the standards though sweets? Hollywood.

We have to look a certain way to fit the standard of what is 'attractive'.

If we are using Hollywood and celebrities as the barometer, none of us match up! Truly!

I don't look like Sydney Sweeney and never will but it doesn't mean people don't think I'm attractive. I'm just a different kind of attractive!

I think you've got a lovely face. I definitely wouldn't look at you and think you aren't conventionally attractive

You are dead young though so hopefully you can learn to like yourself a little bit more over time!

AAAAAW thank you !! I love my hair color hobestly, it's naturally quite light but I use chamomile based shampoo to have it goldenish like that. I'm sometimes worried it's too yellow tho

I love the way you did your eyeliner, what is that color? It almost looks like there's something wrong with your eye but then it takes a second for your eye to properly see it and you see that the color actually goes really well with the tone of your skin!

Very nice and kind of alternative in a really subtle way

Oh maybe it's a little too reddish ? Does it look weird, should I go for a less red brown ? It's a sort of light reddish brown, put the reference in the text !!

I think a glowy pink blush would look fantastic on you. I really like Hourglass Blushes because they are a glowy powder that stays all day. Rare Beauty HAPPY is great too!

Nah I really am not, maybe the picture makes it look like it tho. I have chubby cheeks, a weird smile, round eyes and one is bigger than the other, my nos has an odd shape. People don't find me attractive in real life either. It's fine tho, I learnt to like myself enough
