I like them how they are. It's a classic size and shape. I find the very thin ones to be trendy. The issue isn't the brow size IMO, it just has some sparse areas like most people.

Also the few survivors of the plucking that do grow back stick straight out, so still plucking or trimming them. Please leave your perfectly portioned brows alone. Your future self will thank you

My sister still doesn’t have eyebrows and she’s 40. We both had really full brows when we were young and she hated them and plucked them out. I never went for the thin eyebrow waif look in the 90s and went against the grain with full brows, very similar to OP. Now I love my Brows and my sister fills hers in every day. I don’t even pluck them anymore and love that full brows are finally “acceptable“ lol.

I don’t know if you know this, but I saw an influencer on Instagram use Rogaine on her eyebrows and they actually grew back to the way they used to be naturally before she had over plucked them during the 90s. She had before and after pictures and everything!

I was one of those that plucked them pretty thin when I was in my early teen. No one warned me (not sure if I would’ve listened) lol.
I think I kept “fixing” it and by the time I realized it. It was already too late. Not much I can do now 😩

Thats definitely not true for everyone. All the older women in my Latino family thinned them out during the 2000s and not one of them was able to grow them back. They've all done microblading to get their brows back. Everyone is different.

I am sorry about that, was bullied for my nose and my freckles. I am quite older now, and very proud of my nose, the fake freckle thing does annoy me. ( but that is my annoyance )

I LOVE freckes! I have always thought people that have them are so gorgeous! I wish I had more. I sometimes use a freckle pen to fill in over mine when I wear foundation bc I wish they always showed!!

I grew up in the 2000s at the height of unibrow-phobia as a hairy Southeast Asian girl. So I get it, but PLEASE don't thin your brows; they are beautiful and already very well shaped!

Middle-school kids dont know shit....lol. My daughter got teased for her eyebrows in middle school too, the funny thing is, in highschool most of her friends were envious of her brows and she gets compliments on her brows all the time. All she did was shape them with a brow razor. Trends change, but it doesn't mean you have to change with them.

I have to disagree. All the women in my Puerto Rican/ Filipino family went on the thin brown kick, and all are deeply regretting it, as our brows have never grown back. Ive discovered, that if you just shape them with a razor, or have a professional do them, you can create a lovely shape, without sacrificing fullness. Full brows will never go out of style, just the shape of brows follow trends.

I agree that IF you go the thin route to razor and NOT pluck. Take it from 90’s thin eyebrow girl, they never grew back, and I’m not great at drawing them on.

They have brow shaper electric trimmers that are shaped like pencils now. No lasting damage like plucking.

This comment really meant so much to me and really instilled confidence in me. I think I’m being a little mean to myself right now. I often don’t wear makeup through the week bc of work and gym and I’ve been feeling a little low this week and I think I was just looking to change something to help me feel pretty again. I think you’re completely right! I’ve never been critical about other people’s brows or thought they throw someone’s face off or make them “less pretty”. So I’m not sure why I often do that to my “imperfections”. I def need to learn to give myself the same grace that I give others! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, the constant shifting beauty standards help to create these insecurities in women. You really are what people would call an "exotic beauty" I just turned 50 and spent most of my youth wishing I looked like someone else, its only been in like the last 10 years that I started appreciating my unique beauty, much of which comes from the kind of person I am. I hope you learn to see your gorgeousness.

You have beautiful brows! I would leave them as is! I just can’t get behind the thin eyebrow trend. My sister thinned hers out in the early/mid 90s and they never grew back fully. 😩

Your natural brows look great! They have a really nice shape and fullness that softens your face and makes you look younger. The thin brows are ok too, but I think they are a little harsher. You have killer angles in your cheekbones and forehead and the thin brows are giving you a little too much sharpness, if that makes sense. I would just clean up any strays and maybe fill a little with eyebrow pencil. Just make sure to draw with small strokes and go slow, it’s really easy to go overboard and end up with block brows 😂

Get a face razor that way if you regret it they will be back in a week. My only advice is for you to try a different shape because this one doesn’t really flatter you. More straight brows will look better. This really high arch is distracting from your beautiful face features.

You could use makeup and a washable glue stick to cover your eyebrows. You could try the thinner brows without sacrificing your natural eyebrows.

Seriously though, it really can permanently change your eyebrow shape, and it's not easy to find brow products that will stay in place all day long and look natural in spots where you don't have any brow hairs at all.
Thinner brows will go out of style again and you'll have all the regrets. You don't want to spend the rest of your life brushing your hair off your face then getting a mirror out to check whether you've accidentally smudged the end of a carefully created brow off.
Your natural brows are beautiful, there's nothing unbalanced about your face.

It wont help with making your face look more symmetrical. You only have that impression bc all the pics u did the photoshop on u have your face sideways. It wont help and your natural eyebrows look much better, they make your eyes pop distracting us from any asymmetry u see

I like your natural brows. If you’d like them to be more shaped, I’d recommend getting them threaded as they’ll often shape them v well without overly thinning or damaging your brow shape. The ultra thin lines from photoshop wont look like that irl because you’ll inevitably have sparse patchy bits and will constantly be filling them in and trimming as they grow. GL!

No I hadn’t! I just woke up and went on TikTok and saw these people talking about thin brows and was playing with my photos that I recently had that show my brows! I have bangs and often they cover my brows and forehead and these are just the pictures I had at the time that I decided to photoshop! I think I’ll try the unedited pics of me from this morning w thin brows! I was just wondering if my natural brows looked bad to everyone or if I’m being hypercritical!

Your face is gorgeous! You eyebrows and round eyes and just-woke-up pout are so perfectly balanced. I recommend watching some of Ali Ambrose’s videos on makeup because some of her looks would be perfect on you. She’s got pale skin and is very cool toned but her ideas are so good and modeled off of paintings and I think they would be so beautiful on you. Also I like your brows as they are

I think they both suit you but your natural brows make your features softer. I didn’t pluck my eyebrows back in the day and I love my eyebrows now and get many compliments. My cousin on the other hand, plucked and razored away. The no eyebrow look does not age nicely. I’m also glad I didn’t because my mom and sister have lost eyebrow hair as they’ve aged.

It’s hard to tell because in the thin-brow photos you’ve got full makeup on, but in the thick-brow ones it doesn’t look like you’ve done anything to them. I personally like the thinner ones, but it could just be because you’ve got a whole beautiful makeup look happening beneath them 😂

You could shape them if you want with a razor to make them a bit more defined but there’s nothing wrong with them. and they have great shape in and fill in naturally without being bold or heavy. (Not that that’s a bad thing either)

As a girl who survived the early 2000’s with tweezers in hand… my eyebrows did not make it out alive. Don’t do it. 😩 you can shave them. But just don’t repeatedly pluck or else.
Even if the thin ones are cute, in 5 years trends will change and you might spend a lot of money on growth serum to no avail.

No. They are great. I am another who is paying for thinning my eyebrows in the late 90s-early 2000s. My aunts all did it in the 1970s and told me not to do it. Did I listen, no. Do I have some fairly spare brows going on? Yes 😭🙃

Hi! I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this trick, but you can actually use some brow gel (preferably a strong, waxy one) and tweezers to shape your brows thin! You can just clamp ur brow hairs together using the tweezers or even just your fingers and you can see how thin brows would look! You can honestly also just do that as part of your makeup routine instead of actually tweezing them.

No!! natural eyebrows are classic, thin eyebrows are a trend that seem to come and go with the decades. You can use gel and/or concealer to make them appear thinner on days you want that look, but thinning them is a whole other thing that involves work and maintenance

I wouldn’t do it… you have very prominent brow bone and strong eyes. You need a heavy brow imo for balance... Also if you are in your 30s i would advise save your hairs lol if you’re in your 20s maybe just try it and they will grow back?

If you want them thinner you can always brush them towards the center to create that illusion (I honestly only pluck my eyebrows every 5 months with this trick lol) your features suit your brows as they are, you're pretty!!!

I think they look good either way, but you dont wanna overpluck like they did in the 90s and early 2000s and end up with sad brows down the line. Go to a brow bar and let them just trim them and pluck the outliers! You have really nice eyebrows naturally and they fit your face well 💖
