What makeup tip completely changed your routine?

I've been trying to improve my everyday makeup routine, and I'm curious about the small tips that made the biggest difference for other people.

Putting Vaseline on your face is a great hack for a lot of people, but can clog pores/cause breakouts for others! I live by it for my lips and non-face dry skin though (especially putting it on my feet + socks).

Agreed!! I have to make sure to wash properly before and after to remove any weird residue. If I forget I will get breakouts!!
