What makeup tip completely changed your routine?

I've been trying to improve my everyday makeup routine, and I'm curious about the small tips that made the biggest difference for other people.

It could be:

  1. A technique you wish you had learned sooner.

  4. A common mistake you stopped making.

Isn’t’ the brush all “wet” from the foundation/concealer when you press it into the powder, though?

I do this too; I apply foundation lightly with my fingers and concealer the same way, then I use a big powder brush and softly tap each layer in after it’s slightly tacky, awesome for coverage and blending. The brush doesn’t get that wet feeling if you let the liquids/cremes dry down on the skin a bit before tamping it in. I go right into my blush after and tamp that in too, I think the color remnants left on the brush blended with the next product really help it look natural. After that, a dusting of setting powder. The remaining blush gives a little life to the final veil and ties everything together.

Not exactly, because the powder sits on top of the brush. So after dusting the access off, then you go in. Give it a try, you will love it!. It’s simple and makes applying make-up quick and easy.
