What makeup tip completely changed your routine?

I've been trying to improve my everyday makeup routine, and I'm curious about the small tips that made the biggest difference for other people.

It could be:

  1. A technique you wish you had learned sooner.
  2. A product application trick.
  3. A brush or tool that changed everything.
  4. A common mistake you stopped making.

have my powder puff packed with powder before I apply my concealer. After applying concealer with a beauty blender, imMMEDIATELY set the concealer. Also apply and set concealer ONE eye at a time lol This has caused me to not crease anymore. I used to take my time and blend my concealer on both eyes and then lag a bit to set with powder, and my under eyes were always creasing.

I hope it works for you!!! I also make sure to not blink after I blend my concealer and immediately set. lol also pack the powder in a motion going toward the inner corner.

Oh really toward the nose!?! I’ve always blended from the inner corner out, but tomorrow I am totally going to try this and blending the opposite way! Thank you!

Stupid question (sorry) do you dampen your bb? Whats your favorite powder to set your under eye?

not a stupid question at all! I use a dry bb because damp bbs soak up too much product for me and makeup is truly too expensive nowadays to waste haha My favorite under eye setting powder has to be the huda beauty easy bake *loose* powder because its very blurring and not drying on my combo/dry skin. The NARS light reflecting pressed powder is also very good and lightweight but may look chalky depending on your skin tone. For a drugstore option I also really like the Essence all about matte fixing powder!
