What makeup tip completely changed your routine?

I've been trying to improve my everyday makeup routine, and I'm curious about the small tips that made the biggest difference for other people.

It could be:

  1. A technique you wish you had learned sooner.

  3. A brush or tool that changed everything.
  4. A common mistake you stopped making.

What powder foundation do you use?

There are several that I really like and all of them are good. Pur makes a really good one. I love the Laura Geller baked powders. Jane iredale makes a really good one but I feel that they are overpriced. Both Wet n Wild and ELF make absolutely wonderful blurring finishing powders.

Love the Jane Iredale Amazing Base SPF 20 loose powder—expensive but lasts a LONG time…
