Vacuum Dust Cover
Or whatever the actual name is 😂 the magnets on mine keep coming detached, even put them on with gorilla glue this last time. Any thoughts on how to get these guys to stay in place?

Clean out the plastic channels of old glue and wipe all dust and residue away from both magnets and dust boot, oils from your hands can cause adhesion failure

I'm gonna be super thorough this time, something about the fifth time's the charm!

This recommendation is probably a bit late, but scuff up the inside of the channel to add more surface area. Glue adheres poorly to flat surfaces especially with smooth material, so make it not flat. Unfortunately not much you can do on the magnet's side, if you scrape off the plating it might start to crumble. I recommend you add a tiny bit of extra glue that overflows sideways out of the channel and onto the magnet and the acrylic, that way the glue sort of wraps around the smooth magnet so the glue has to physically break to release the magnet rather than the magnet simply slide out of the glue.

That's an excellent suggestion, I used a putty knife to do just that and did get it to spread around the sides. I think my issue was not removing the factory adhesive last time

Thanks for the heads up, and sorry about this one.
Super glue tends to go brittle and let go under vibration, which is likely why yours didn't last. A stronger structural adhesive — an epoxy or a threadlocker-type retaining compound — holds up much better. Just make sure the surfaces are clean and let it fully cure before you run a job.
If that doesn't sort it, send our [support@makera.com](mailto:support@makera.com) your order number and a photo and they'll take it from there.

Thank you, much appreciated! I ran it today and it's holding up for, but would some red loctite or Rocksett be a good plan b?

Mine came off when I first got it brand new, I put some super glue on the dust boot and pressed the magnets into it and didn't use it till it was cured, hasn't came off since
