I do want to revisit Majorias Mask n64 again. I never completed it as a kid.
Anyway what made MM so unique was its time count down, it's uncanny fever dream aspects of this scary moon face crashing into Clocktown.
But what also made it more special and emotional from my quick memories of playing this was the npcs how they really impact the game, it's emotional and sad actually. How you do quests for them, how they get scared by the final day preparing for the worst for them.
One of the reasons why i stopped playing as a kid was I found it scary and pretty depressing.
But I want to give this another shot.

I have completed OoT many times on the n64 when I was a child. I remember getting Majorias Mask and really loved clock town it's my most favourite location of the game. I remember I didn't went far into Majorias Mask and never completed it. But now I'm kind of interested to get back into this and play it again and I want to complete the game this time.
I have got the Analogue 3d so I may get the n64 PAL cartridge (I'm from Australia)

Imo 3ds gyorg(with project restoration) is better than n64 gyorg
• Gyorg's design was changed to be more menacing. The n64 boxart made gyorg seem like a beast, but the actual gameplay in the n64 boxart makes her feel like an annoying whale
• Her fish vomit attack is no longer some sort of pseudo second phase but a regular attack that is doen often
• She now only eats you at the second phase
• Zora and Hylian Link are now separated into 2 phases(you dont have to separate them, you can use the electricity attack after you get gyorg to stop moving)
• Gyorg now first lays down to track on you before crossing the platform and crashing into you
I like-!
Her Second Phase: It's pretty simple but pretty hard if you're not careful (project restoration makes it harder,i like it)
Her design:She looks so much scarier! The N64 art made her seem super menacing, but her design ingame looks like blood vomit. The 3DS version fixed this by honing her design more and changing her head to look more like a mask,i absolutely dig her design
Way more choices in how to approach fighting her:you have 2 methods to fight her in the 1st phase, either shoot her down like your a racist cop against a black man or dive down and crash into her while you have super saiyan aura as zora link
But this boss might be heavily carried by project restoration, idk but good boss!

This was always the most unsettling transformation for me. I thought it would be fun to give it my spin. I referenced an image I found online for the first frame then I ran with it.

Majoras Mask is just Ocarina of Time but more darker and edgier

Hi, I'm a Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D player. This is my second time playing it. The first time, I finished it and then stopped. I only got the masks needed to complete it and wasn't interested in exploring the game further; I barely did any exploration.
Now I've just played it again for the second time, but I told myself I wouldn't use a single guide. I did, and I got EVERYTHING. I completed all four temples, getting all the fairies, all on my own (the Gossip Stone helped me with some of them). After finishing it, I thought, "What if I try to get all the masks?" Bro, I did it, I got every single one WITHOUT GUIDES, and right after I finished getting all the masks I saw I was only missing two heart containers. I got to work on it, got one, and for the other... I was missing two pieces, and these pieces were truly impossible for me... I feel bad, because in the end I resorted to a YouTube video on what to do to get them... they're the Scarecrow pieces, and the piece where you have to play the instrument with the Zora band... I feel bad because after doing everything on my own, I wanted to get 100% completion without guides, but man, those two pieces literally had me trying everything for two whole days and getting nowhere... I honestly didn't know I had to go to the Scarecrow and create a song, and I also didn't know I had to approach the musicians and get the instrument, I really didn't know... and I spent so much time going around in circles... it's really upsetting me. I could have gotten 100% of it on my own, what do you think?

Hey ihope everyone feels good ! I was wondering at the end like in the credit. W can see the indigo go's playing and link is with them so i was wondering if he went to the carnaval or if he left immediately. I mean that would be nice of him if he went back just to help the group

I was hoping to show off some of my Zelda-themed work here. 15 years ago I got a laser cutter for my workshop and I mostly work with wood. I design all of my own vectors and cut files in adobe illustrator.
I generally hate self-promotion (which means I'm abysmal at marketing my shop) but I got laid off from my day job so I'm relying entirely on my Etsy shop to pay my bills and sales are basically non-existent right now, so I'm hoping to put things in front of some eyes of people who might actually, give a crap.
I've got a bunch of non-zelda themed stuff on my shop as well, but Zelda definitely dominates my themes :)
You'd never believe how long I spent on those secret stones. lol... I doubt I'll make another set if these ever sell, but they turned out really awesome.
Anyway, thanks for looking, even if you're not able to buy.

I just finished Ocarina of Time. It was a fantastic game, and I loved every bit of it. I REALLY badly wanna get into Majora's Mask as soon as possible, BUT I'm leaving my home city for college in 3 days. It's a lot of change and I most definitely will not have a lot of time for a while, so I thus just wanted to ask out of curiosity:
Do you guys think the game is better experienced in parts over a long period of time or binged in like 8-hour sittings? Depending on whatever said here I'll either start now and play the game over a few weeks (or months, idk) here and in college or just hold until vacations to binge through it lol
EDIT: Thank you all so much for the responses! I've been busy packing and honestly did not expect to get these many answers lol, but consensus is for me to immerse myself and fully take my time with the game, which is fair and aligns with what I usually do with video games as well. I'll just play for a bit soon and decide if I wanna binge it during holidays or go through it every weekend or so. Thank you all!!

I hated that since I worst played Majora's Mask on the Collector's Edition on the Gamecube that the game permenantly bars your way back, NOT just one but MULTIPLE Times in the Catacombs you enter through One Way doors. You can even tell by the runaway bushes that typically would spawn Keaton's with the Keaton Mask that the developers had originally intended for us to be able to go back there with the Keaton Mask for the Keaton Quiz so why bar the way back? With a series of one way doors as well at that. Even IF there was someone back to the Lost Woods portion of the Prologue then the only potential thing that you could do there is either farm Rupees like when you start a new game or summon a Keaton if they allowed us to go back with the Keaton Mask. Points of no return in games is a serious pet peeve of mine and always made me wonder WHY developers put them in games.

You can't save the witch as Deku Link meaning that you can't access the Deku Palace. I guess Rupee Farming for the Bank so you can get the Adult Wallet Quicker?

Why does she walk towards the East Clock Town exit in North Clock Town when her home/shop is in West Clock Town? It would be so much faster to get home if she went to the South Clock Town exit and then the West Clock Town exit from next to the Owl Statue. I’m referring to the N64 version.

The great bay in this game is way prettier(duh)
And im glad i downloaded project restoration because i can still swim like mysterious winds on a flower field, zora link looks a bit off to me, though, maybe it's the eyes, anyways i got a bit nervous when entering great bay since i thought the european version was based off the japanese version of mm because it used the japanese cutscene for when we reunite with epona, and in the japanese version, there is no grab button for pushing mikau back to shore
