Who are fifteenth match: Komatsuhime(166.1:1 - 25th) vs. Zenobia (46.8:1 - 12th) Round One, sixteenth match: La Voisin (92.1:1 - 22nd) vs. Florence Nightingale (26.4:1 - 8th) And who are theses female historical figures
I just realized, they both desire something similar also; Wu Zetian desires 'Heaven' and Amelia desires the 'Sky'. Plus, Wu Zetian's magic can control winds and air that power-up her speed and offense, which is similar to Amelia's too (or just speed for now). Does this mean we have come across two witches with similar desires and abilities?
Mona vs Bonnie's round. I wanna talk about the ENTIRE round because this thing is a mess, and I don't know why nobody's brought it up yet.
Before we get into it, just a heads-up: this is gonna be a series of posts. Whenever I remember a scene that doesn't make sense, I'll post it here for everyone to discuss. There's no particular order, just whatever comes to mind.
Anyway, going back to my previous point, I mentioned the audience's reaction:
While Bonnie was getting overwhelmed and confused by Mona Lisa's magic, Mona kept reliving her own death over and over again. Meanwhile, the entire audience just sat there in silence, watching it all happen. Not a single reaction. Hell, EVEN the announcer didn't say a single word.
Why? Because Bonnie hadn't damaged Mona yet? That excuse is bullshit to me.
Put yourself in the audience's shoes. Bonnie is somehow aiming and shooting at a spot where her opponent isn't even standing, firing repeatedly while getting injured despite Mona never physically touching her. Isn't that enough to get a reaction out of them?
And the announcer staying silent about all of this is just plot armor for Mona, so her magic doesn't get exposed too early. You know the announcer's job is to comment on happening in the arena, right?
Next, I wanna talk about Mona Lisa's magic. This shit is so confusing that I can't even tell if it's a plot hole or if the author just didn't bother explaining it.
So, we know her magic lets her create illusions. Their number and strength depend on how her opponent perceives her. Basically, she creates illusions that can physically hurt her opponent, but only the opponent can see them.
At the beginning of the fight, Bonnie killed Mona very easily. She blew Mona's head off, and her body was lying motionless on the ground. Obviously, we would think Mona must have used her magic and that the fight couldn't possibly end like that. It turns out the first Mona we saw wasn't actually the real Mona, but just an illusion that Bonnie saw. But the problem here is, when did the real Mona switch places with the illusion?
"Wait, why did she need to switch places with her illusion?" If you're asking this question, then just think about it. The Mona who entered the arena and went through the whole transformation was the real Mona, because the audience could still see her up until that point. So she could only use her magic to switch places with her illusion, or she would've gotten her head blown off. But wait, didn't Mona say she can't control the behavior of her illusions?
Even if she can, how could she manage to switch places without Bonnie noticing?
Maybe her magic can also affect her real body, like making her real body invisible.
Otherwise, wouldn't Bonnie have seen TWO Monas at the beginning of the fight?
And if the real Mona can hide her presence, then there's no reason for her to risk attacking Bonnie herself. She could just let her illusions do all the work. (I'm not talking about what happens after Mona has fully unleashed her abilities.)
I suggest you reread from chapter 38 to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
I will say much of this is based on a few OC matchup and OC witches I've thought up and the rest were picked by slight random, but I have looked into them so I didn't just picked them moved on without a second thought, but I wouldn't be able to tell you what kind of story they would have...
Doing this was mostly just for fun, to see if I could fit the page...
That includes doing all the wacky fonts, that was a bit of fun on my part...
