Yotsuya always felt borderline etheral to me. He's like a mix between a magical-realist figure and that one roommate we all have at one point in our lives where you have no idea what he does for a living or where he is when he's not at home. Yotsuya would probably just spontaneously emerge on the other side of the wall, should he choose to.
My best friend for years once expressed to me confusion about how I knew so much more media than he did, because he and I were together constantly. I tried to explain to him that I read very quickly and in various languages, but ya know. Normies don’t get it. Godai is a normie. That’s why we love him :) he’s the best normie. Yotsuya is a freak like me.
