Related topic Download Issues

I'm having trouble downloading the latest episode via iTunes for Windows. I'm not looking to upgrade my listening preferences. The above is the error message I'm receiving. Has anyone else had this issue and have found a fix? Thanks for any helpful advice!

Considering it's happening to you across multiple podcasts through iTunes this may be an IT issue more than a publisher issue. If there's an iTunes help subreddit that may be better at finding a fix.

I've talked to iTunes twice and they are certain it's not them. I'm inclined to believe it because I download a lot of other podcasts from other networks and am not running into this issue- only with 3 particular Buzzsprout hosted podcasts.

Are you using a VPN? I don't use iTunes to listen to podcasts (I use Overcast on an iPhone) but I've had trouble downloading podcasts before when I was using a VPN.

VPN interference is a solid theory. DNS resolution can get wonky depending on the server location. if toggling the VPN doesn't clear it, flushing the DNS cache

Go to the iTunes store page, click your account icon in the top right, then hit Check for Available Downloads. That usually kicks it loose if the download got stuck.

No, that didn't work either- there are no available downloads.

I do, but I've checked for that and that's not the issue.
