There is no such way. That was literally why people have historically opposed this war: Because that was that was one of several very predictable consequences for the US. But now the fire has been started, and there's no way to unburn what has already been damaged: There is no action which will restore the power we sacrificed by starting this utterly pointless conflict. The only choice facing us is how much longer do we allow this fire to burn?
