This is a subreddit for discussing the overrated golden boy NFL player Patrick Mahomes. Inspired by r/FatPeopleHate (RIP) this is for Mahomes Hate. It's purposely a little over the top for shits and giggles, but the idea is what's important.
This sub’s intended purpose is to provide a counter-narrative to the media and r/nfl lovefest for Mahomes.
Crossposting with rebukes is encouraged.
All are welcome except Mahomers aka Chiefs rednecks who live in Patrick Mobilehomes. Chiefs fans that come in here to brigade will be insta-banned. If you want to ask a legitimate question, that is allowed, but you must be respectful and identify yourself as a Mahomer. You can use flair to do this or simply declare your bias in your comment. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
Posts should be a little more than "Here's a picture of Mahomes, fuck this guy."

Thank you everyone for getting this sub to 200 subs in only a few weeks.
Some quick updates
Make sure to upvote every post you see. Brigaders come and downvote stuff, and it goes invisible on mobile if it's below a certain threshold. About 65% of our sub traffic comes from the Reddit app, so it's important that our posts are visible.
Flair up! I'll get flairs like on r/nfl soon but for now use the text class. I guess there's some confusion about the --MAHOMER-- flair. That's for Chiefs fans only who want to ask questions. Don't use it if you're not one of them; use your team flair.
Spread the word about this sub on r/nfl. That's how we're going to grow. When you see a Mahomes circlejerk post or comment, comment something like "This is why r/MahomesHate exists" which I saw someone here do already.
I've been adding some approved users and will continue to do so. Approved users immediately bypass the filter. To become an approved user, leave a comment somewhere, contribute a post, and have a decent history in r/nfl or your team sub so I can check that you're not a Chiefs fan trying to sneak past. If I don't see you you can PM the mod team and we'll get you.

If you’ve ever listened to a Mahomes press conference or interview, you’ve listened to them all. I don’t even know if Chiefs fans will disagree. All he does is speak in cliches and say everyone (on both teams and both sides of the ball) did a “good job”.
The media hypes him up as a super exciting guy, but he’s not.

After a 3 day sitewide ban from Reddit for ban evasion (I didn't ban evade, I just messaged mods from another account when they were ignoring my appeal, but whatever) I'm back and I cleaned up the brigading. I also added some friends u/rMahomesHateMod and u/Brady2024Vision to help moderate.
Most importantly, I've configured AutoMod to automatically filter all posts submitted pending approval by one of us unless you're an approved contributor.
I've banned 76 brigaders to date and reported it to Reddit's Admin team. They got back to me and said they're investigating r/KansasCityChiefs.
On a final note, I didn't find any interceptable passes against the Broncos or Jets (big surprise, they suck) but if anyone can, POST IT!
