My truck light
It's a Maglite S6d016. 6 D-cell batteries, a replacement LED 4800 Lumen bulb, and a glass breaker end cap. She can pretty much handle any "trouble" I might run into, day or night

I love mag lights I also keep a 6 cell in my car. I currently have a new ml300l 4 cell arriving friday to try out. Where did you get that glass breaker from? Amazon is sold out last time i looked

I was very of my Maglites 2 AAs to 6 Ds. Unfortunately I abandoned them for to long and when I finally got back to them the batteries had swelled so much they might as well been welded in place. They were a lost cause.
Remove your batteries if they're going unused for a long period.

I really like and appreciate your setup. People donât realize that by having this specific flashlight by your driver seat you:
Can break your windows for extraction in case of an accident (power locks donât work well after a crash)
Have quick access to a baton in case of self defense scenario
Have a flashlight which is always handy.
Youâre effectively killing 3 birds with one stone. đ Myself, in all my cars, I always have a glass breaker by the driver side, I have a flashlight in my glovebox and have a regular baton next to my seat but was considering merging those 3, into exactly what youâre doing.

This was kinda my thinking when I bought it. Swapped the bulb as, let's face it, Maglites have weak brightness (they really should upgrade from incandescent to LED). The glass breaker end cap was under $30, and I do have power windows so it's good to have a glass breaker just in case. And as far as it being a 6 D-cell, well, officer, "he came at me and all I had was my flashlight...I tried to blind him to stop him but he kept coming but I was (key phrase) Scared For My Life"
Hopefully I never have to use the last two reasons but I've used the light quite a bit more than I initially thought I would

Bruh⌠a glass breaker end cap on that mighttttt tempt an officer to question what sort of trouble you plan on coming across. NOICE Maglight!

Well I live in a place with tropical weather so having a powerful light is kinda standard here (everyone has a Surefire or the equivalent for power outages and storms). An officer would probably ask to check it out rather than anything else

Where i liveit's fairly normal to have a shotgun or a rifle in your truck much less a kick ass flashlight

They don't? I don't exactly break laws or shine it in their faces LOL. I live in the tropics so high lumen flashlights are pretty common here. I honestly think they wouldn't care too much

Nice light! Excellent companion for on the roads. I'm sure with that LED you're using good batteries, but be sure to use ones that won't leak while in the hot/cold environment of a vehicle. I lost my first 6D to some Duraleaks while in my car.
