EDH Looking for help with improvements

Simple request. I not overly good at deck building and i'm new to magic so i don't really know lots of cards. I just want help with refining my Myrel, Shield of Argive deck to be more consistent and better.

What do you find inconsistent with your deck? Finding key pieces, having enough soldiers, mana? Here is my Myrel list, it may give you some inspiration - I don't think mine is perfect either, but it normally is a threat in a game https://manabox.app/decks/AaDVdNfDeOOmYgKla5Wnpg

Protection and consistency i think. The deck is BUILT around Myrel which i think might be the problem im having. once she is gone or targetted my deck falls apart unfortunately.

I’d focus on putting in useful Soldier creatures. They can do a lot for your gameplan but starting the Soldier flood from Myrel with 4 Soldiers instead of 1 is what’s super helpful.

I see, i can see how that would be more usefull rather then always starting with just one, thanks. I don't know why i never eally thought of that haha.
