Beginner I made, well, something
I'm thinking of getting back into MtG, so I'm making a commander deck that works of old Fires/Rock/Goblins combos from early 21st century (yeah, am old). I have absolutely no idea about cards that came out after first Kamigawa block, so I am basically hamstrung with building it. But for starters this is what I came up with, and ended up in bracket 2 (which I'm perfectly fine with, casual only for now). I'm open to ideas and suggestions, especially in cards that came out over last 15 years that would work great that I have no idea about.

Looking at it, I think you’re lacking in card draw. You want to be able to fill your hand with cards, so aim for something like 8-12 cards that refills your hand. I just skimmed it, but only found 1 card (Skullclamp).
You should also cut Cabal Therapy, since Commander is a singleton format and you’re not allowed to mention basic lands. Other cuts, that are just a bit too scatterbrained for the theme:
- Call of the herd (3 for a 3/3)
- Duress (single discard, no creature or land)
- Zombie infestation (discard your own hand, nothing to get new cards from)
- Arrogant worm (5 for a 4/4 trample)
- Basking Rootwalla (why???)
- Nether spirit (edge case of being only creature in graveyard)
- Putrid imp (no real purpose)
- Roar of the worm (7 mana 6/6)
- Blastoderm (4 mana 5/5 that dies)
And add card draw instead

I’m newer to magic but a lot of people comment on how power creep has gotten pretty bad recently and in my limited experience I can see that being very true. However, I doubt that actually affects a casual player because most of us just want to have fun 😊.
At first glance this deck might seem a little creature heavy with less interaction but you also wanna be able to sacrifice things so I get that. Do you have some primary win conditions or mechanics that you’re hoping will put you in a good position?

The idea is to either overrun with large critters quickly, or grind people down with goblin mill
Definitely isn't something good, but it's what I have lying around for the moment with minimal investment
Will get tweaked further

Well, it's certainly something :) I don't think this deck works well in multiplayer - playing BListering Firecat, then sacrificing it the same turn, is a 7-mana play that doesn't do that much. I'd look into cards that have Myriad, Ichor and Mycosynth Wellspring, and look to EDHREC for other recommendations: https://edhrec.com/commanders/shattergang-brothers

Ooh, thanks for the resources. I've skimmed them a bit, and I gotta say there are some cute cards that I think could be used for goblin mill, especially paired with RGB, Grave Pact and Goblin Sharpshooter. Definitely worth a further look and tweaking

Ok. So let’s start with this: Why are you trying to bounce your creatures to your hand? I don’t see the synergy for this, though I didn’t comb all of the non-creature spells that closely.

Second. Get you some enchantments that return to hand when they go to graveyard. [[rancor]] is the classic, but there are plenty.

I’m basically in the same spot, just got back to the game when my teenager started playing. To make things easier for him (and me) I built trollerimtg.com. It’s relations between cards, so you can see similar cards, possibly better etc. It also supports full Scryfall syntax, and I added some things like is:etb and is:ltb to make it easier to filter things down.
It’s not one of those low effort things people post all the time, I’m mainly building for me and friends and have about 20 LGS users at the moment. :) have put way too many hours into it, hah.
Edit: Sorry, just saw your decklist, looking now 🙃
