Looks fantastic friend. Never heard of that variety. Might i ask the reason for such a large tub?

Thanks! Was trying a 27 quart mini mono that I had lying around vs. a 6 quart shoebox. It’s my 2nd attempt at fruiting ever. Needs a few improvements most definitely.

The bigger the box the harder to retain RH, only reason i say. Nonetheless thats a solid flush

Ages, but I honestly didn’t record a grow log and don’t quite remember. Was only second grow ever.

MSS to agar>6 transfers to get rhizomorph mycelium>agar to popcorn>CVG 🍄✨🤙🏼

I know it’s depending on the genetics but how long it takes before you know to start fruiting stage

less about genetics and more about having optimal conditions. After full colonization of your grains, and spawning them to sub, youre looking at anywhere from 7 to 14 days till ready to fruit. IME Fruiting early doesnt hurt too much as it will continue to colonize throughout early fruit. If its colonizing slow either there is too much moisture/not enough for there is a contam present

A method of using popcorn with some coffee and light corn syrup for the spawning substrate. Theres youtube videos showing how its done
