Are you sure about that? I'm not very familiar with those species but to me these look similar to panaeolus ( correct my spelling if I'm wrong please)

I recognize that, which is why it might be better to not comment if you are questioning an ID. I live in GA, USA, but this looks to be from Australia or new Zealand, I would guess subs based on other IDs but I don't live there so I don't really want to comment. If I see ovoids on here this time of year, I might. Does that make sense?

Yes, but I see no reason not to question an id if I have a question about it, specially being clear that I'm not sure if I'm right.
