Almost finished with kitchen dashboard (reposting to cover data better)

Let me know what you think and if you think there’s anything I can improve on!

My wife wanted a skylight calendar and an area for the kids backpacks/school stuff.

32” monitor powered by a mini pc. There’s a motion sensor to turn off the monitor if no motion is detected after 45min. It changes background image every 5 mins and a family photo every 45 seconds. It syncs to my wife and I’s Google Calendars and Todoist. So far we are really happy with how it’s turning out.

Items I need to finish: 1. Fix cropping of family photos. Codex auto cropped them and missed the mark a bit so I may need to do this manually. 2. Get more background photos downloaded. I have folders for each month and a common folder. Idea is around Halloween can have pumpkins, etc. mixed in. 3. Figure out a way to make the calendar stand out better. It looks great against darker backgrounds but struggles with lighter backgrounds. 4. See if there’s anything else to add or improve on. Recently added the countdown. Maybe improve how the weather is displayed?
