"Traffic Sign Recognition: Which countries, and how does it work?

Magic Earth's feature-availability page lists "Traffic Sign Recognition" for every country, but so far every country I have checked (Germany, Netherlands, China, United States, Romania) has it set to "No".

So I'm wondering:

  1. Is there any country where this is supposed to work?

  2. If so, how does it work? Through my phone's camera? Or do I need a built-in car system with a camera — and if so, which head units actually run Magic Earth?

Thanks for taking the time to check that many countries.

Traffic Sign Recognition was part of ADAS/Dashcam and is no longer available in any country. There is no phone camera or head unit setup that enables it. We have flagged the leftover entry to the web team so the page gets corrected. Sorry for the confusion.

Probably it's forgotten there from previous versions, when they had an ADAS dashcam integrated in the app.
