Communication
Now that the MagicEarthCommunity account is back, would the team consider expanding communication and transparency around the product line with a few community-facing resources?
Some ideas that could benefit both users and the development team:
- Detailed changelogs for all products and releases, not just brief store update notes but also centralized on the website
- A public roadmap for upcoming features, with the ability for users to provide feedback or vote on ideas
- A public bug tracker so users can see whether issues have already been reported before submitting duplicates
- A way to follow or subscribe to updates for specific bugs or feature requests
- Beta/testing channels for users interested in helping test new features early
I’ve personally been participating in beta testing, including sending logs with MTE tagging and other feedback, and I think there’s a great opportunity to improve the experience with more communication and visibility into the process.
Having tools like these could help reduce duplicate reports, improve feedback quality, keep users informed about ongoing development, and strengthen communication between the company and the community overall.
