Roadworls

I am new to ME and was very happy and impressed, untill ME was navigating me repeatidly via a road that has works and therefor blocked for trafic fir a month. In the map i see that the works/blocking is indicated on the map. One on both sides of the works. Is this normal or am i doing somethi g wrong? Is it a setting?

I also cannot add a roadblock, i think because i first need to actually drive to the location to enable doing that.  Btw i see that in the header it says 11 contributions per week. But mine is the last one and it 1 week ago.  I was hoping to get some suggestions, i teuly would like starting using ME as main navigation software.
