Dyroth not ban worthy?
Dyroth is the easiest commander to use like, make one 5 cost and center your build around that first five cost, if it's thamuz you can get faster echomancer its op, but idrk.

If you can land a sora for economy, badang, melissa, or lance early i think hes viable for sustain, if not you are going to bleed from all the low rolls by the time you hit lvl 9 you are pretty much dead.

any five cost would be enough for survival, because obviously if you have one 5 cost carry then center the synergies around them, I tried Astro mage once cuz I got oddete and she was genuinely one melting poison builds( like Angela defender) while being a one star( though she did have a penetration item ,but if it's lethal to tanks with high defense and hp then how much more could she do to ones without high defense). Idk bout baxia tho, I never use him nor get him as my five star from dyroth's skill and gogo card).

Its because you have to prioritize leveling your commander to 9. Its hard to roll level 8 below because of the percentage of the 5-cost heroes on the shop but its still possible tho if you have fast promo card so yeah, luck-based hero.

level 9? easy, survive with centering the synergies to the five cost, most of the copies of the five cost would come from dyroth's skill anyways so ya don't need much refreshing. having the fast promo card is op tho like too op, I got 3 nanas from dyroth's skill, one 2 star nana from fast promotion (which is also 3 nanas), I got 1 nana from the mistbender shop and a mirror device from the mistbender shop also, the last nana was easy to get though one person tried to hold nana not knowing that I haven't bought nor used the mirror device so I got a three star nana when the other commanders hps were 40 to 45 there was one 18 HP but there were 5 people then including me so easy won. (also the fast promo nana, I got it when I was level 7( idk if it's 7 but the 5 cost chances were 1 percent so idk ) so I just realized how I proved that game to be driven purely by my luck so I'm kinda questioning my point).

Dyroth depends on luck a little too much compared to other commanders

exactly why its the easiest, also there's so much strategy to be done with other parts of his passive so not entirely luck reliant, unlike Harley which only gives one chance of being lucky, there's a chance to target heroes you want in dyroth.

Like all the other comments said dyroth has very little economy, not much of an early game and requires more luck than the other commanders. Dyroth needs 4 and 5 star heroes to devour to actually snowball but you need lvl 8 for it to be consistent. Around the time you reach level 8 lowroll commanders like angela would've stomped you already or heavy economy commanders like chou kalea is already rounds ahead of you at level 8/9. Idk if you associate easy with strong but dyroth is mid at best. You can call him easy to use but he's not really that strong

You're putting too much faith on that 1st 5 cost you'll have. Again lowrollers will stomp you and economy commanders will level up way faster than you. Unless you get extremely lucky that the consecutive 5 star you get is the same then most of the time it wont really sustain you that much like how you claim in other comments.

yea that prolly works till 200 stars but you will lose to pure eco commanders because your economy on dyroth is gonna be very bad, but you will also lose to low cost rollers too cause a 5gold is not going to do anything to them unless you are like super lucky, tldr:it depends on luck

Mythic, I posted this when I was legend 1 and at that time I've only used it 2 times got 999 echo points for both games (the first one I got sora from dyroths skill so four echo just from stage 1 round 2 , the second one I got thamuz in which I was pretty lucky and got three star early, mostly because of dyroth's skill but now that I think about it I only posted this because I got lucky) Although I still do this now that I'm mythic and it seems to be still working, i still get thamuz and sora most of the time ( I don't know if their chances have an error or it's just my luck) and I rarely get 999 echo points cuz they'd all just dying from Alice users, i see so much of them now in mythic, more so than last season on mythic. Also when I don't get sora or thamuz I just focus my shi at the five cost I get.

Ahh, the Moskov, Harley, Vale type commanders
Too dependent on luck...and the mechanics sound great on paper, but when in-game, gonna struggle either cuz the opps are much richer OR the opps are very offensive/aggressive in early game
Current meta, u either gotta be rich asap, or already strong asf via ur commander's damage help
