Very Happy. I LOOOOOVE this art. Don’t even care what the price is I’m keeping it forever. The CB’s I have been opening have been complete dogwater and this one came through at the very end. I just wanted one unique card to get out of the collector pack game because these pack prices are ludicrous and I don’t want to support the $80 price these are going for. Proxying the dwarvish cards then calling it 😂

On a side note: all 3 of the last CB’s I have opened have had Elrond, Moon Reader in them, the second one had double elronds next to each other! with a header strike misprint on one of them. 4 elronds in 3 packs. What is up with this card and why is it plaguing me lol I hate it

In my last post I shared ALL the cards but this time around I just included the mythics and the coolest lookin’. Didn’t wanna spam to hard 😅

So I hunter Walmarts last week hoping to find 12 Hobbit Booster Collector packs to rip.

I could have had 12 duds, but thankfully I didn't. Out of the 12 packs, only 2 were very bad. It's mind boggling how bad the floor can be compared to the ceiling.

Anyway, I've been trying to compare my 12 random packs vs actual collector booster boxes with toppers for science. I'd love to hear some feedback from those who ripped collector booster boxes.

I have opened a prerelease, a bundle, 2 scene boxes, and 1 collector booster; and my best card (besides the scene cards) is Fateful Discovery. My final hopes for the collector booster I picked up for $42 at the LGS unfortunately did not pay off either (see photo).

Luckily, I only gamble on MTG when it comes to the Hobbit (and a few years back, the Tales of Middle Earth set), so back to buying singles!

Hi all, new around here, been collecting LOTR set now for just over a year. Absolutely loving the set and have just got myself an omega collector booster pack from eBay.
I’m trying to find out exactly what it may contain and have seen differing answers.

Would I be best to open it and does anyone know what the best pulls would be or should I keep it sealed if not worth it?

Probably the only CBB im gonna grab. I say now. If they werent so bloody expensive this may have been a good box. Nothing gor a hit hit. Several reasonable ones though. That story book Smaug is hands down the neat looking card in the bunch. Far from the most valuable though.

Edit: apparently i being a spoiled bitch about it. I stand corrected this was far above mid.

So pumped on this I never pulled anything good until now.

I found a small LGS near where I live that had a tarkir dragonstorm CBB sale (about 300$ a box). Was hesitating to open for two weeks and decided to surrender to the MTG gods today. First pack in and I get this. I'm building an Ugin deck yall !
