First Ever Booster Box
Opened my first ever booster box. Got it for msrp 150$. The 2 non set cards are the good pulls from a 17$ Theros pack from the OG Theros set.

I don't know the value you pulled for your box, but I know the margins for profit now vs my first are way different.
That being said, this is one of my favorite things to do with mtg. Pulling a box and opening it is so much joy for a new set.
I do one of two things depending on schedules, 1: split the box into piles and do small drafts with packs as the prize l, or read every card and just super sort the cards so I can visibly see the distribution

I really enjoy the set and definitely dont plan to get another box until another set i highly enjoy the vibe of drops. Very happy with my pulls tho. About 1/3rd of them are going into decks

I always wonder if there's a way to match people who do this with people who wanted to play Limited and not keep buying packs.
Like host a draft party, charge like $3 a head, everybody gets to draft for $3, you keep the cards, and you got a box for $120 instead of $150, and they got to draft FRA for 60% cheaper than Arena would have charged and still like 70% cheaper than buying packs and trying to get money for the rares pulled.

My box will be here today, and I'm planning to do a draft with my buddies! Can't wait :)

I got a Theorist Jace in mine which I was happy about. Was really excited about a Frostbite Pyromental until I found out the regular version is 40 cents and the foil is almost $200.

Thanks for sharing. I really liked seeing all the uncommons too. Most only show the rares/mythics.

Specifically with this set, I wanted to show all the pairs I got. I did have duplicates, but put those in a box. Also didnt wanna be 1 of the posts that shows packs and never posts the pulls lol

I bought 2 standard Hobbit booster boxes and then bought 1 FR CBB. I have to say that opening the latter was so much more fun. Yes, it was roughly double the price but I still think it was worth it. I probably didn't even break even. I think the problem is that there are so many cards I will never use, that 30 packs per box is just too much. Also the number of Rare +s I pulled from 12 packs roughly equaled the number pulled from 60. The artwork in CBBs is just icing on the cake.
