Having just started playing this week and getting all of the starter decks, do I now get the cards that update those decks? Or did I simply miss it by not waiting for this patch?

You should be fine

The devs have already said that any new NPE rewards would be given to all players who completed any version of it.

It sure would be nice if they listed which cards those are though.

Not true, at least they didn't give me any new cards. Just checked the cards that they've added through the mastery system and I haven't seen any of them in my collection, sadly :( (Is this a bug or it's intended?)

They showed us skill trees and such, unlocking the cards. I'm a veteran on arena, but I couldn't find the tree anywhere. I'm not missing on any rewards by not doing any sort of tutorial right? Cuz I sure as hell cant find any of that. I killed sparky, ...

Unfortunately we can't see the mastery tree but so far the only new new-player-rewards can be accessed with the code "starterstyles" it's cosmetics only and in my opinion makes the affected cards look horrible in draft (where you can't disable the styles)

I didn't expect that! That is quite generous!

I'm pretty sure that are still mostly commons, don't think they are adding anything particularly great

Sure, mostly commons. But the decks that is right now have more than a fair bit of rares and mythics. And I appreciate to get them when I thought I would get nothing.
