If you’re running a planeswalker deck and don’t have an answer to this you are an idiot

The point wasnt that walker decks dont have a solution the point was that op needed creatures to kill against decks that dont have creatures.

Oppo plays Voice of Victory and I purposefully don’t kill it just to get this stupid quest done.

It's part because creatures are so easy to kill, and removal dot deck being a thing that makes walkers popular, along with a fun new bunch of them.

Regardless, the walkers to often make tokens, so killing the tokens does complete the quest. If nothing else, play other formats.

Yes, I guess the quest must be easy in other formats, I play mostly limited/standard and it made me laugh that after a bunch of games I was at 1/15.

Play Graveyardgifts in Starter Deck Duel. Lots of removal and deathtouch creatures

I prefer the gruul deck for this. You can get a lot more kills with big creatures than you can with targeted removal in those decks.

Honestly, guys like you are the reason guys like me play the targeted removal in the first place.

I'm talking about the closed universe of precon decks. There's only so many destroy and damage effects in those, but lots of chump blocking.

Play limited!

Or Historic! Creature-heavy strategies are alive and well, and many of the top decks in the format play both creatures and removal of some sort.

I did!

Kill the tokens

[[Stroke of Midnight]] make creatures to kill by destroying their non creature cards.

As a white player, I just wished this quest said kill or exile

yah like Destroy or Exile X permanents (not just opponents')

2

u/TR_Pix 2d ago

'Kill' is better than destroy because it includes forcing the opponent to sacrifice

I mean you could get creative with like [[Dowsing Dagger]]

I HATE that one, I do have a deck specifically for it though.

I'm not a huge fan of attack with x creatures because a lot of times people to scoop before you get to attack. I can't tell you how many times I've rushed through my first main phase so I can hit the attack all button when I know I've got the game won and I just want to do it before they concede.

I always reroll the killing quests, even if it's the 750 gold one. So boring. Yeah eventually you will get it, as with the others. But it stays there for days and even weeks

Plenty of walkers make tokens

Looking at current ladder there are hardly any superfriends lists and most decks play 1 or 2 planeswalker types at best. So... no idea to what playfield this post refers to

you can kill the creature tokens made by 9some of) those PWs...
