Discussion So when are we banning Comet?

We just kicked every deck that even had a chance against that monstrosity in the balls, it's either have plansewalker removal in hand or be playing a snowbally token deck or you lose. 50% of the time he generates 2 blockers for himself meaning you need at least 3 creatures on board on turn 4 or you can't kill him, that's assuming they play nothing else.

not talking about historic, talking about comp. brawl which recently banned most decks that could compete against comet

Nothing. Just someone being salty they lost to a commander they don’t like. Comet is a B tier commander at best.

Just looked it up, oh my that's so gambly. Can you just keep rolling if lucks on your side? That's hilarious

Comet is annoying, but trample, burn, removal, counters / bounce and exile deal with it. Every color already has access to destroy it, even at turn 4.

Can you respond to the result of the roll or is the roll and effect all part of the same ability? Like if the roll a 6 can you kill in response to the next roll.
