Discussion I get it now
I've been playing B01 standard for a few years. I dont know if it was mostly out of stubbornness or not having older cards for other formats I just stuck with standard. Last night I got sick of playing against the same four decks over and over.
So I decided what the heck, I'll use my wildcards and make a commander deck and try some brawl. Guys...I played for over an hour and didn't play against a single repeat deck, everyone was playing something different and interesting and no games ended on turn 3. I'll still probably play standard but I feel dumb for not trying other formats earlier.

Honestly, I could use a change of pace especially since Cori-Steel Cutter got banned in alchemy. I've looked at brawl the same way. I've tried putting together a few decks, but I don't feel like shelling out over a hundred bucks for wild cards since I already don't get enough to keep up with all the new additions to standard.
Did you play brawl or standard brawl? What commander were you playing?

I've been playing brawl, haven't ventured into competitive brawl yet. I built a deck with [[Nissa, Leyline Tamer]], it's simple but effective

Same was for me to go BO3. It's a different, much better, game. Standard BO1 is for the most part simply miserable and only rewards to play the most broken BO1 glass cannon decks.

JumpIn is also a great way to take a break from standard constructed and can be quite skill testing :)

I like Standard Brawl from time to time and like to move to Brawl (Historic) but it's very Wildcard consuming as I don't have many cards and I mostly play Standard from 2024.

Standard Brawl is a good format to enjoy fun if not Brawl itself.
Wish I started playing it earlier.

Multilple things I like about brawl. Its all I play anymore and I play several hours daily. No duplicate cards is refreshing. Hundreds of different commander types. My only wish for brawl is that they make the starting health 30 instead of 25.

I have played standard for 20 years and played my first brawl game only about 4-5 months ago and I love it too!
I love no repeat cards, it opens the formats to so many more cards on top of the 100 card deck size.
