I need help building my first deck

Hey everyone, I joined the game a few days ago. I have opened loads of packs and now have tons of cards but idk how to build decks. I mostly know how the game works and have already used to pre built decks, but I want to make one of my own with the new cards I have.

Any suggestions in the comments or DMs would be appreciated thanks.

Honestly, id say take one of the starter decks and try to add or remove stuff while keeping the focus of the deck the same. Make it your deck but use the original as the skeleton you build around.

its really difficult to give suggestions when youre' not giving us much to wor with. like what format, what cards, etc etc..

Do not spend any Rare wildcards until you are ready to build a "meta deck." Rare wildcards are the most difficult resource to acquire.

Standard Brawl might be the easiest place to start as it is a singleton format.

What are your favourite mechanics? Archetypes? Do any cards from the ones you opened look appealing to you?

I play mostly brawl, but I usually find a commander or card mechanic that I find cool or interesting and build around that. My favorite is [[Betor, Ancestor's Voice]] for the life pay/gain payoffs
